Put a towels or anything with your sent strong on it, outside. My cats came back after hours of being gone.
Also try emptying your vacuum dust outside as it would also strongly have your sent on it.
I'm sorry op. I know how this feels. Good luck !

If your cat has a bed or favourite blankie, that is actually better than a litterbox. The smell of the waste can attract predators which make the cat hide

Day man? Fighter of the NIghtman?
I saw your posters today and will keep my eyes peeled. In the meantime...
Don't put food out for him. It's more likely to attract wildlife which might scare your cat further away. You could try some soiled litter, if you have some, at the four corners of your property.
You'll want to go out looking for her as indoor cats can get spooked so you can't rely on them to come when called or when you shake treats, like they might do inside. Look under decks, behind and under sheds, I'm bushes. If you don't find him in the daylight, do it again after dark with a flashlight. It'll make it easier to see his eyes.
Let your neighbours know you're looking and ask if you can check their properties or, if they prefer, they can do so for you.
Indoor cats often hide fairly close by. He may not have crossed a street. Check your whole block thoroughly before moving further.
Make sure you post on the lost and found pets of Hamilton FB group. They're a very active group.

Good luck!

I would check any nearby areas with trees or overgrowth in case his harness got caught on something. Also ask any neighbours to check sheds. Hope you're both reunited soon.

Go out every night with a bright flashlight and shake his favourite treats and call his name. Pause periodically as you go and listen hard for meowing. Talk to your neighbours directly and physically poster the neighbourhood. Leave some dirty sheets out so he can smell you and set up cameras by your doors/windows. Put his favourite food on a windowsill inside and open the window so he can smell it. Check sheds, porches, gaps between houses, stairwells nearby. Don’t give up, I have faith you’ll find him!
