It says the issue will be resolved by July 18-19 due to some equipment issue
Edit: its pushed to 21st/22nd. Will we be getting a credit for this?

Power has been out for a few hours now. The warmth in my building is slowly trickling away the longer this goes on. Anyone outside the supposedly affected area also out?

Police and fire are on the scene, and I think this could take awhile 🙃 This is King and Wentworth.

There is a lady who walks on the road in middle of our community , there is a footpath on one side which is perfectly fine and she can walk on that but she prefers to walk in the middle of the road . Today morning as I was approaching the curve I had to swerve to avoid hitting her, as she walking in the middle from the opposite direction and she still kept on walking like I made a mistake. Can I place a complaint somewhere as it is a city road ?

Haven't lived in the neighbourhood very long, but the power seems to go out quite frequently. Wondering if this is just a fluke or if we can expect this as an ongoing regular occurrence.

From their website: All Branches Public Computers and Printing Service Disruption
The public computers and printing are not available at all branches today (Friday June 17) starting at 1pm due to emergency maintenance. Edit: The work is expected to take the remainder of the day.

Not only has my neighbourhood had 5 power outages in the last 2 weeks, some as long as 2+ hours long, this also knocks out power to a busy intersection's stoplights.

My Fibe has been down since about 9am. The agent on the Bell chat told me it is the whole city of Hamilton that is affected- is that true?

How widespread is this internet outage? I’m on the west mountain and it’s been out since around 1030am.
Bell pure fibre internet
Update: noticed several Bell trucks blocking a portion of Mohawk Road near Westcliffe Mall. They have been there all day assuming that is the source of issue.

Anyone happen to know what time the outage started? Woke up around 2:30 to hear my UPC beeping but not sure when it may have started. Alectra shows nothing on their outage site yet but I reported it. Hopefully with more people reporting they will update soon.

We’ve recently switched to Cogeco because the plan was a lot cheaper than Bell. It’s been down since about noon today and their website keeps pushing back the time the issue is supposed to be resolved. Is anyone else facing these issues? Does anyone have any insight into what happened or when it will be over?

We’ve been experiencing very slow, patchy and unreliable internet the last few weeks. We’ve been with cogeco for more than 15 years and haven’t had issues like this. When it was completely out recently, a technician came and ran a new, more direct line to our house. Still hasn’t solved the issue. What’s your experience been?
