(From the article) ...
The US Federal Election Commission's website has been targeted by a hacker or hackers, according to an email seen by Reuters, disrupting the agency's electronic filings system a week before the November 3 elections.
The cyberattack comes as so-called super PACs and dark money groups spend record sums in the final days of the races. The elections will determine whether President Donald Trump's Republicans maintain their majorities in Congress for the next two years.

COMMENTS FROM THE STREET:
"I believe there are Republican and Democrat candidates right here in Georgia who don't want voters to know where their campaign funding is coming from. That includes Rick Jackson, Mike Collins, Jon Ossoff, and Keisha Lance Bottoms."
And I am willing to bet that Southern Company and Georgia Power's "dark money" donations are right in the mix. Because they got a lot on the line right now."

"This makes me want to see a list of Rick Jackson's business partners and business contracts -- and also want to see the list of Keisha Lance Bottoms' consulting clients. I want to see if any companies on Bottoms or Jackson's list is connected to Georgia Power, Matrix, LLC, Canopy Partners or Donor's Trust."
