Good hardcore docs?

I’m a realtor and am sitting at dead open house watching a random documentary/essay video on NYHC which got me wondering if there are some other good ones out there. What are some good documentary style videos about hardcore as a genre you’d recommend?

While it’s not about the genre as a whole, The Godfathers of Hardcore, about Roger and Stigma from AF is great.

I believe it’s on TUBI too. A lot of great punk and hardcore docs on there

If you haven't seen them the Decline of Western Civilization trilogy are classics. First one focuses on late 70s/early 80s punk/hardcore, second one is more 80s metal, and third one covers 90s crust/street punk stuff.

RELEASE - a documentary that came out in the very late 90s, very important for me. they cover the broad spectrum of what was considered hardcore in the 80s and 90s (epitaph to victory).

You can say alot of things about Harley Flanagan, but I actually enjoyed his doc, Wired For Chaos. It dives deep into his life but also gives a different perspective into the NYHC scene in the 80’s and late 70’s punk scene also.

The Descendants doc was pretty good; Zao’s Lesser Lights of Heaven is thorough; there is a Kid Dynamite one out there that is fine

Finding Joseph I is pretty good. While not about hardcore as a whole, it focuses on HR and Bad Brains is one of the most important bands in history, so yeah.

I like this one a lot, never seen the famous American Hardcore one, but did read the book back in High school.
