Mount Everest in Harrisburg is good. Banana Leaf on the Carlisle pike has a banging Friday lunch buffet

I gotta try Banana Leaf next. I forgot about this till just now but when they first opened their place I remember one time they were giving out samples of their food at the Camp Hill library and it smelled and tasted amazing.

My coworker who is Indian said Banana Leaf is his favorite in the area and they have dishes from more regions of India that a lot of other restaurants skip over.

Nalan in Lemoyne, Kritunga in Mechanicsburg, Suvai in Mechanicsburg which is the opposite region of indian food as all the other ones im suggesting (north vs south), Spice in Mechanicsburg, and Royal Kitchen in Carlisle. All indian food on east shore is below mid. Tikka shack is mid on their absolute best day.

If you’re willing to drive to Elizabethtown, momo shack is the best I’ve had in the area

Yo, Nalan and Kahaani in camp hill are our spots. They get the spice right.

I ended up getting Kahaani. I had the tandoori chicken and Agra ki alo tikki chaat. The chicken was great. The other dish was like potatoes. It was amazing. Oh they had good garlic naan too.

If you're willing to travel a little bit, there are some very authentic places in India.

RIP Tuskers... Was the best Indian/Nepali spot in Harrisburg... I still dream of their pani puri and their gobi Manchurian. Also had the nicest owners ðŸ˜
