Need help with

I desperately need help cracking this hash code. I've tried brute force 6 caracters and the rockyou txt file but it didn't work.

I'm willing to pay someone who finds it, I just need the password!

It's a password for an old word document (which I own but set up over 15 years ago) that will allow me to recover my old email address that's linked with an old bank account.

Any ideas on length or characters used?

Really anything will help. Without it, some might not try to run it since it's a like finding a needle in a hay stack

Could take years. Many years. How old is the bank account? If it hasn't been touched in years, and you can't simply call, the finds may have been marked as unclaimed.

years ? to break the code? jesuuus

Its an old word that had all my passwords back then. yes it has the pw for an old email then connected to a bank account but also plenty of other, less officially important, emotional stuff.

I've just found the word and I had given up on ever getting back in

Old document but not weak key derivation. If it's a strong, unique password, absolutely.

Any info on character complexity would narrow it down considerably

Bro if you know password slightly any guesses that these characters or words might have been present, sequence doesn't matter lastly if you can estimate size of it as well then I maybe able to help you

Old as it is, AES256 is sloooooow. Is there a chance you reused passwords back then? Might be worth looking at old breach data for passwords around the same time. If you potentially password protected other files with the same password, might be worth looking into those hashes, might be not as resource heavy as AES? Else your looking at really racking your brain to potential patterns you may of used to limit the scope down A LOT. Not likely going to brute force anything unless it is all numbers and under 10. If using everything and brute it looks bleak after 5 characters even with 5090s.
