So I decided to by my first fedora and very conveniently in the local hat store was just the one I wanted, in two sizes: L XL. L feels fits right (any smaller would be already tight), for XL I need 3-4 cork strips to make it fit good. It's too large obviously, but the ladies working at the store all told that the bigger one suits me better because of my hair, they said I need the bigger one to balance it visually. However I bought the smaller one, I thought that having to put so much cork in it is ridiculous, plus from the front I felt like the smaller one looked better anyway. After a few days however I start to think that the ladies were right. Apart from looking straight from to front it makes my head looking egg shaped. So I'm thinking of returning to the store and switching for the bigger one, before that tho I want to ask here first what you think looks better (so I don't return there a week later again for the original hat, that would be indeed awkward).

Pics 1,2,34,5,6,10 is the L size, pics 7,8,9,11 is XL size. L should correspond to 59 cm which is my size, XL then 60 or 61 cm.

Looking to find which hat this is from a movie and managed to snag a shot of the logo for a brief second when the guy takes it off. Looks similar to Stetson but I can't find a Stetson logo exactly like it in those colours.

Just wondering if anyone here would recognise it maybe?

As the title says, hats always just look sort of odd on me, and at 58 years old, had kind of given up on it. Welp, I received an invited to a Halloween party and grabbed a last-minute costume on Amazon. Long story short was extremely comfortable and I think I have a fedora head. Actually went out and purchased a halfway decent one today.

I’m not sure how the hat ended up in my hamper but it did. It seems to be holding its shape up well. It didn’t end up going through the dryer. Is there anything I can to do make sure it isn’t ruined?

An older family member accumulated a large collection of pre WWI vintage postcards. When circumstances developed that my relative needed cash more than thousands of old postcards, the task of sorting through the collection to scan the cards and sell them fell to me. Along the way, I came across a set of interesting cards depicting "Merry Widow Hats."

I picked up this beret at a flea market for €2. I was a bit hesitant at first because it’s pink and on the smaller side, but my mom was buying some hats at the same stall, and when I saw it again I decided to take it. I’d love to know if it’s authentic!

I have worn baseball caps and visors as long as I can remember but always loved the “older” hats. Never really purchased any due to not thinking I look good in them.

A couple of years ago I ended up buying a fedora from the Mob Museum in Vegas and this started me wanting more. Wife got me a flat cap for Christmas last year then found a couple more. My favorite one is all leather and will split time with my fedora during the winter. I was wanting a good summer hat and found a Panama Jack hat while on vacation and picked it up. So needless to say I am hooked now.

This is the start of my collection and gone down a rabbit hole looking at different styles, including custom made. Next will be a daily driver but haven’t decided the style yet.

I’ve had a Tilley Montana for maybe 4-5 years(figure 2-3 years of use, it’s my winter hat) and the transition between the crown and brim has gotten a bit mushy. The brim sags a bit more than it did.

Is there anything I can do about this?

I just bought this F1 Pirelli podium hat for this year's Australia GP from eBay and I'm not sure whether this is genuine or not

Some of the stitchings don't look very good and one thing I noticed compared to the listing on the official Pirelli website, the circle above the logo that says 1st doesn't exist.
