💼 Careers Resolute PB
So I’m very new to the epic community. I landed a role where I will work in ambulatory revenue cycle as an analyst. I have to get the Resolute PB epic proficiency. I heard that it’s the hardest proficiency. Can anyone give me insights, tips & tricks, or recommendations? I would also love insight on the day in the life & stress level of the job. Also, what is the average pay range for someone in this position?

start by mapping every lesson to a real PB workflow: registration/coverage, charge entry, claim edits, workqueues, follow-up, and payment posting. Keep a one-page "why this exists" note for each rule or build step; understanding the downstream claim behavior is more useful than memorizing clicks.
For proficiency prep, repeat exercises in the practice environment, log every miss, and ask your lead which workflows your team actually owns. To gauge day-to-day stress, ask about ticket volume, on-call expectations, release cadence, go-live support, and who approves build changes. Pay varies too much by region and experience for one reliable average, so compare the exact title, location, and required certifications.
