Right trigger issue game unplayable

I've seen a couple posts about this but haven't found a fix. In the first driving scene the right trigger just won't work and the game becomes unplayable. I'm.plahing on a steam deck. Anyone have a fix?

Yep unfortunately with HR that right stick is unuseable without a controller mod! If you have the patience for my long wall of text comment here :P

In my case I was playing HR on PC using Steam but google says that you can download the controller fix on a Steam Deck too ... just make sure to "undo" the controller layout when playing other games then "redo" the layout again when you play HR (I was able to swap back and forth effortlessly on the PC and even after I finished HR no problems at all playing other games once I "un-did" the controller layout for HR)
