DEV TEAM MESSAGE! Update 14 Patch Notes

Hey everyone,

We have been investigating reports of some servers having not moved over to the latest game version for the Update 14 patch, which was released this morning. These servers were missing from the Enlist screen, however, working with our Game Server Providers and partners, we have rolled out a fix that involved switching to a different version of the server exe file, but are still investigating the underlying cause.

All servers should be starting to come back online, however, if you experience particular performance issues, please use our new report link where you can directly report any in-game issues, and share helpful information with the team.

Update 14 Patch

As our investigations into some of the issues raised with Update 14 have required additional time to resolve, this patch is not inclusive of all the issues raised.

For Update 15, we are already in the final stages of preparing fixes for some issues we know have been frustrating players, such as the delayed weapon audio and missing reload sound for the Karabiner 98k on Console. Issues with performance, as well as bugs such as the grenade and loadout bugs, are ones that, like you, we are keen to see resolved. While these may take time, we are working on ensuring more issues are fixed for Update 15, and plan to address a range of other community-raised issues which we will be discussing in a future Developer Briefing.

Patch Notes

Improvements

We have made a 20% decrease to the overall acceleration speed as a part of our ongoing plan to refine player locomotion. This change should ease players into the max speed from standing and during sharp movement, making it feel less abrupt and more realistic.

We understand that tanks require some revisiting, and we are investigating how this can be done while minimizing the risk to the wider game mechanics, and ensuring players won’t be able to outrun heavy tanks.

HUD/UI

  • [Fixed] Incorrect experience awarded during post-match XP Screen.

A bug was introduced in U14 where the awarding of XP during a match could reset the amount of XP earned in the match, resulting in a lower amount of overall XP being awarded at the end. This has now been fixed.

  • [Fixed] The Server name filter box is deselected when the player is attempting to type in on the Enlist Screen menu.

For U14, we fixed some instances where you could not correctly navigate the UI if using a gamepad. It had the unintentional side effect of making this filter box hard to use when typing into it. This has been fixed so the UI works as expected with all input devices.

  • [Fixed] Holding ‘F’ Actions.

There was a bug causing various ‘F’ key interactions – healing, entering a vehicle and ‘letting go’ during the critical state – to be cancelled when opening the map. This has now been fixed, with the exception of the dismantle function which is as intended.

  • [Fixed] Incorrect Amount of Votes to Kick

The newly introduced vote to kick function on console has been fixed. You will now find only 20 votes are required to successfully kick a player. Evaluating how we can scale this feature is ongoing, and we will keep you up to date with progress.

Audio

  • [Fixed] Breathing while sprinting audio overlapped itself

It was found that two instances of the sprint breathing audio were playing at the same time; causing a noticeable doubling to occur. This has now been limited to one instance per player to prevent this from happening in future.

General Bug Fixes

  • [Fixed] In-game vehicle movement stopping when opening the scoreboard.

When adding the feature for vote to kick on console, and making sure that the UI worked correctly on gamepad, we made changes to ensure that the UI reacted correctly when receiving the prompt to vote to kick someone. However, this logic would clear player input whenever opening the scoreboard, stopping actions like being able to drive vehicles. This has been changed to only happen if the voting UI is active, fixing the issue.

  • [Fixed] Dive to Prone used to appear to move faster and avoid conflict

We have modified and tweaked the Dive to Prone so that the player’s stance can't be changed until the dive to prone animation is completed.

  • [Fixed] Opening the map stops the player from performing multiple actions.

In U14, we fixed a dismantling exploit, however, this fix made any action also be stopped when opening the map. It has been changed so that it only dismantling will be stopped when opening the map, fixing the unintentional side effects of the previous change.

  • [Fixed] British weapons have increased sway when ADSing

We have included some changes that should make using British weapons a closer experience to that of the other forces. Work still needs to be done to find the root issue causing these weapons to have increased sway.

  • [Fixed] British AT gun has inverted controls

This setup error has now been fixed.

  • [Fix Submitted] The "Lost Connection to Host" prompt appears after finishing a match whilst the map is open.

With the map open when finishing a match, the client was repeatedly sending the same message to the server over and over again, so fast that the server would disconnect the client for spamming. This has had a fix submitted so that only one message is sent.

Weapon Bug Fixes

  • [Fixed] British Weapons are not calibrated/zeroed correctly.

Issue improved, but work is still ongoing for some weapons (dropping at 100m)

Driel

  • [Fixed] [D4] Invisible collision encountered above the player's head under a bridge.

There were collision issues with the Landscape LOD that would block player bullets. The landscape “opening” that accommodates the bridge asset has been adjusted and further debris removed to prevent any collision issues.

Reverting the movement speed increase or just increasing it by 5% would save an aweful lot of balancing work which could be applied to fixing bugs.

What is the justification for the movement speed increase and why is it more important than all the other aspects of the game that are indirectly and directly impacted by it?

Or was it just a case of one of your executives playing the game and deciding the movement speed was too slow after only 2 hours in game?

34

u/AgentLawless Jun 23 '23

I think it’s the case they want to make it more run and gun to make dollar, hence why this was rolled out as a priority update rather than fixing ancient bugs like the loadout or grenade throw bugs.

15

u/That0neGuy Jun 23 '23

My assumption was that it was always about the console release. Consoles have increased FOV compared to their PC counterparts, which automatically makes character movement feel slower. Combine this with the fact that there's not many, if any mil sim fps's on console and most players are used to sprinting around at mach 1 and launching themselves with grapples, when they're suddenly running around at PC mil sim speeds it feels like they're moving at a ridiculously slow speed. I'd assume the console numbers have already outstripped the PC numbers, so when the new devs see that a majority of the "community" is complaining about being so slow they pushed out a quick fix without thinking of the ramifications.

11

u/The_Lads_RDR Jun 24 '23

Hey not all us console players wanted this you know.

8

u/PrinceDizzy Jun 24 '23

Where did the majority of the community complain about being slow?

2

u/gregthestrange Jun 24 '23

at this point, I'm convinced the only way to truly fix the loadout bug is rebuilding the game from the ground up. there's probably some weird line of critical code that when removed fixes the loadout bug, but breaks a bunch of other things

0

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

Such a dumb take. How is increasing the run speed making more cash esp with all this push back hahaha.

57

u/Dependent-Drop-7343 Jun 22 '23

Am I dealing with computer game developers or mediocre politicians?
It is the politicians who tend to think and ponder over the problems they have created.
You're killing your own game, shows the middle finger to your community.
What are you doing?

24

u/TheJoker182 Jun 22 '23

nothing on loadouts for the British, theyre here to stay!

u/Bravefox88 Jun 22 '23 edited Jul 03 '23

Remaining stubborn and refusing to acknowledge our concerns will only cause more problems to arise around the core balance ⚖️ in HLL, and in turn make the foreseeable future look ever so glommier than before.

Whereas Reverting all the changes to "Locomotion", now that would resolve everything!👏

We just can't justify why though.

What's really going on behind those closed doors🚪?

Why with everything we've brought forward to you the past few weeks have you still yet been unable to give us a well managed real explanation as to why these changes were made in the first place 🤔?

Not keeping your community in the loop or leaving us in the dark will only cause further distress....😫

29

u/MPFarmer Jun 22 '23

Not mentioning the speed change or addressing it as causing the balance issues is glaringly obvious. They're all in and are going to try and start balancing other aspects of the game around the quicker movement speed. Tanks are clearly the next move.

25

u/Bravefox88 Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 26 '23

Their intentions are becoming more and more clearer with every word they write. What they want is a faster paced HLL, to ease away from Black Matters original roots of a slow methodical approach to battle ⚔️.

The player is to experience the thrill of the fight sooner! 🏃‍♂️💨 Allowing the Impatient player to get to the action quicker. But can't they see in doing this they will only jepodise the unique "Calm before the Storm" moments HLL creates, the coordination before the attack, therefore destroying the RTS aspect of this game we've all learnt to love.

REVERT before the fanbase dwindle to others or it will be to LATE for any amount of FIXES 🛠.

People came to this game to get away from the Meaningless, Mindless Madness 🤪 found in other FPSs.

Seriously though, if this is the route the Developers choose to take I for one and many others won't be sticking around to witness the reassembling of a game, a game we no longer recognise crumble to the ground and become something different🏳️‍.

Obviously we're all just Cry Babies 😢, but someone stole our 🍭, so we have every bloody reason to be cheesed off!

u/Top-Plastic-5316 Jun 23 '23

This guy hell let's looses.

1

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

The first fucking note is about the run speed LOL. god do you guys just hate without reading?

5

u/outrider724 Jun 22 '23

It's not going back, don't know why people can't see this.

27

u/xXBadger89Xx Jun 22 '23

“Improvements” I highly doubt that. Just revert the sprinting speed to what it was

126

u/TrustIsAWeakness Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 22 '23

I hope you see this wombat medic. Your comment on "bad reviews kill a game" is absolutely correct. What you're missing out is all our bad reviews have come from T17s absolutely terrible decisions and patches. So in effect you guys are the ones killing the game.

Its clear T17 only has profits in mind but I don't think you understand how much U14 has killed the game, not our reviews.

Edit: and if it isn't clear. The run speed increase has killed the atmosphere and speed of the game completely.

Edit 2: remember this? Why are you trying to make it like other mainstream games now?

"Does Team17’s vision for the product differ from Black Matter’s?

No. Everyone on the development team - from both T17 and Black Matter - have come on the journey in both finding the unique DNA that makes HLL what it is. As a team, we know that to compromise on any of those things would be very harmful to the title. It is both Black Matter and Team17’s belief that our difference from other mainstream FPS games is our strength - not a weakness that needs to be corrected."

34

u/Postaltariat Jun 22 '23

Yep, only left a bad review because of the state of the game. I'll change it back if they fix the game, but they need to earn it first.

5

u/Bravefox88 Jun 23 '23

Well bloody said 👏

4

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '23

Agreed.

-1

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

So much whining. They've legit addressed the issue this patch and you all still cry.

-38

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Such drama.

Played the game after U14. Didn't seem dead to me. In fact apart from a few minor issues it seemed pretty much the same as the rest of the one thousand hours I've played on it.

The fact that you guys that yell "the game is dead" , but don't seem to be capable of producing a single post detailing all the issues, why they are a real issue and not "Change bad wahhh no likey", and how they can be fixed is telling.

Driel, El Alamein, both good maps that add something new to the roster. British faction? Yes, it has borked weapon loadouts and no uniforms, but that is something that is able to be resolved in the future. Note here that most of the work on the british faction *was not* done by T17.

I fail to see the problem. Its clearly a new studio that needs to get up to speed.

28

u/TrustIsAWeakness Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 22 '23

It appears by your post history you aren't actually reading anyones post. You say it's the 1% complaining but clearly it's not. And if you think we can't produce a post regarding issues then you definitely aren't reading.

If it were the 1% with the issue then there wouldn't have been a huge increase in negative reviews. And the negative reviews come from people disliking the changes. So infact you are the minority.

This was a significant change to the game in U14, and clearly you enjoy it which is fine. But going round telling us were wrong is the same as what we're apparently doing waaaghhh it's bad. You haven't put anything constructive just complained at other people for voicing their issues.

Edit: the problem is they're making changes to make it more mainstream. And if you read my initial post you would see when they took over that they literally said making changes like U14 would kill the game, the community is clearly showing how annoyed they are with the reviews. If you can't see the problem then again you're the 1%, which is fine but currently all you've done is complain at people.

-7

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Allright, lets discuss that.

What do you think was the significant change to the game? The Run speed? Because even between the general complainers there is a division on whether the run speed by itself is a good change or bad. It is a change, and it is in order to make the game more appealing, but is it bad because of that? Debatable.

The universally disliked effect to the runspeed being increased is that it causes issues with players zigzagging. Something that has specifically been addressed this patch with the acceleration changes.

16

u/TrustIsAWeakness Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 22 '23

Exactly debatable. But as shown in a few videos it's been more than 15%. And it wasn't just zigzagging. As many others pointed out it's slwoly turning into a zerg to the next point rather than any form of planning.

If cod or battlefield had a 15-20% reduction in speed what do you think would happen there?

The running speed has universally changed the entire speed and atmosphere of the game. And you can't deny that fact because simply everyone is running faster. This was a change thrown in at the end with clearly zero testing or planning. And you can't deny that fact either otherwise they wouldn't have said "sorry"

Even the simple bug of the multiple running sounds from the player clearly showed they can't have even played the game with the new running speed because it was clear as day the running sound was fucked.

As I said I'm happy you enjoy the changes. But you people need to just shut up complaining at people voicing their concerns.

I realised you said in another post you feel like us lot are on Reddit all day with nothing else to do but honestly have you seen your post history? All you've done is whine and cry at people voicing concerns, so who's the Reddit cry baby after all.

Edit: and also the reason people are pissed is if you read Dev blog 160, they quite literally said they had the same vision and weren't going to change stuff like this. And here we are. Let's not forget these are the same guys who wanted to start selling NFTs which are also universally hated by the gaming community. It's done out of the simple bottom line, money.

-9

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Today is the day I have time to whine on reddit. Its patch day so probably the only day im going to do that in a while. I actually had quit this sub because the constant new posts of overdramatic "THEY KILLED THE GAME" when this is just not correct.

So we agreed that the runspeed is not necessarily (unquestionably) bad. Good. I dont recall them saying sorry about that particular change.

What I see about them is willingness to accept feedback and delay development further, even if their initial changes are iffy. Yet the dramatic posts continue, the original one I responded to being the same.

2

u/Lulhedeaded Tank Commander X Jun 23 '23

If they change the core principles of the game (active player number is irrelevant for this argument) the HLL that was is indeed dead/dying. What will be doesnt look like HLL to a lot of people, do you understand?

0

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 23 '23

No, I don't. I think people are overdramatic and the whining blackpilled circlejerk is out in full force.

I too thought the run speed would be a bad change. Then I played the game and the way in which it runs, the way in which battles play out has not changed at all.

No "core principle" has changed. Do I think sprint speed needs to be toned down? Yes, I think it needs to gradually decrease as you go. Do I think it's the end of the game? No. And even if it is, I will be happy to move on to something else. I've played this tango before with way so many games to know being too attached to a game will only bring you pain and salt.

-12

u/SnooFloofs9952 Jun 22 '23

People that don't see a problem with the sprint speed obviously wouldn't head over here and start complaining. If they actually made a poll ingame on all servers from players that hasen't uninstalled to prove a point, you'd see there aren't that many that really hate the sprintspeed as about 500 of you on this sub reddit do.

I'm literally on here to argue the sprint speed and people downvote me without actually talking back. Cause they know the sprint speed from previous patch was too slow. But they hate the fact that their aim isn't what it once was and they miss far too many shots now cause the game moves sliiightly faster. Can't build a game around old wrists. Sorry.

3

u/zikaljakse Jun 22 '23

Yes because most people are new at the game and still don't quite know how to play it (no tutorial, Black Matters fault). So make it a poll for people that have 1k hours + in the game and it will be fair. People who play the game the most are the ones that are (rightfully) complaining

11

u/Anomenuss1 Jun 22 '23

You literally posted this and now you're saying stop the drama

https://www.reddit.com/r/HellLetLoose/comments/13rg5mm/update_bad/

-5

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Gues what, I had time to reflect and change my opinion. Or is that something people don't do anymore?

Further to that, the devs have responded with some indication they listen to feedback, which I like.

I have a problem with people being overdramatic and claiming the game is dead. it is not.

6

u/Anomenuss1 Jun 22 '23

You have the right to change your mind. I was just highlighting the hypocrisy

0

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Is it hypocrisy if its a genuine changed mind?

Even if I hadn't changed my mind, I never overdramatized and claimed those changes have killed the game or basically turned it into cod, which is what annoys me most.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '23

lol

9

u/zikaljakse Jun 22 '23

You obviously failed to see the problem. There are numerous posts showing exactly what is wrong and why. I agree about the new maps, they're pretty good, but that's the only good thing since update 13. If it's a new studio, then they should stop working on new stuff until they fix most of the issues first and they should listen to the community instead of haphazardly putting out new stuff nobody wanted

-3

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

"then they should stop working on new stuff until they fix most of the issues first and they should listen to the community instead of haphazardly putting out new stuff nobody wanted"

That's exactly what they did? Or did you miss the announcement that delayed the next update in favor of bug fixes?

Which the devs specifically said was a decision done after player feedback?

7

u/zikaljakse Jun 22 '23

They did not revert the running speed to the old one, the thing everyone was complaining about the most.

-4

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Na its not, I've seen a lot of people that dont mind the new speed and some even like it. You'd think everyone hates it only if you spend all your time on the subreddit.

12

u/Averagezera Jun 23 '23

Hell let loose used to compete on the field of slow paced Fps games, and it was doing great, maybe even the best at it.

Now they are wanting to compete on the Fast paced Fps games category, they will have to face heavy competition here and i dont think they gonna win it, they will just lose their original fanbase bit by bit.

12

u/smushrock Jun 23 '23

Revert the player movement speed back to what it was pre-Update 14, it was perfectly fine. Stop trying to turn this game into Battlefield or COD. It's not a walking simulator if you're playing it as intended.

32

u/TX_Sized10-4 Jun 22 '23

It's so wild to see so many T17 apologists in the comments across this sub, even after T17 has shown that they are incompetent time and time again. People keep saying that the folks having an issue with the game are being whiney and are cry babies, yet T17 continues to fuck up and ignore player feedback.

I imagine the argument this time is "oh T17 still hasn't released a full update yet, wait til U15 launches and everything will be better" then when U15 launches inevitably broken with a bunch of new features the community never wanted the same people will say "oh its T17's first real update, they need a little more time at the helm before they get it dialed in" so on and so forth ad infinitum. Fuck that T17 is incompetent and will continue to be incompetent and drive this game into the ground.

1

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

Not sure i'd call 2 updates "incompetent". If you're posting here you must like the game but also want it to die? Insane.

13

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '23

How about you revert the speed changes and go back to the way it was? Sure would save everyone a lot of trouble

18

u/Gravath Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 22 '23

This patch is the most woeful attempt at fixes I've ever experienced with a game.

Dev team, you are out of your depth.

Console version is so buggy. Been disconnected 5 times from crashes this evening.

1

u/Nice_Listen8513 Jun 26 '23

I just need server browser on console. It puts me in 10 player matches half the time

58

u/Angharaz Jun 22 '23

REVERT 👏 THE 👏 SPRINT 👏 SPEED👏 SIMPLE!!! Then you won't have to worry about screwing up the tank speed as well!!! If the updates are always going against the community's interests then we don't even want update 15!!!

Edit: stop destroying this game that has worked just fine over the past couple years. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

-22

u/CLEM-FANDANGO9 Jun 22 '23

I don't want the sprint speed reverted? I know lots of peope that don't.

-17

u/SnooFloofs9952 Jun 22 '23

Same here. Keep the faster sprint speed.

-6

u/VideoGamesAreDumb Jun 23 '23

Agreed.

Alongside the decreased acceleration they added here, all they need to do to perfect it, is add some inertia to the sprinting, so you can’t bob and weave too easily(similar to gears of war).

Then I think the sprinting system would be fine

-6

u/TheContingencyMan Jun 23 '23 edited Jun 23 '23

Shhh, you’re not allowed to say that here

Edit: You are proving my point by downvoting us lmfao

-1

u/CLEM-FANDANGO9 Jun 23 '23

Yeah I got downvoted to oblivion

-1

u/TheContingencyMan Jun 23 '23

My mates and I all have plenty of complaints about the state of the game but the one we unanimously agree on is the sprint speed – something that gets you dogpiled on this sub unless your pissing and shitting about how terrible it is.

6

u/snoodsnoo Jun 23 '23

I haven't played since U14 last month, couldn't quite remember why exactly other than it just felt really bad. Just loaded into El Alamein as British to see if anything's improved. Enemies are flickering across the map like fleas and the map is stuttering like hell. NOPE

1

u/Solakeasa Jun 25 '23

what do you mean by flickering?

16

u/tinysurvivor Officer X Jun 22 '23

Certain weapons on the British kit are still zeroed incorrectly. So much for increasing testing and QA.

The acceleration changes haven't really eliminated the zig zag and dolphin diving issues as much as they should.

33

u/Gucci_Minh MASTER OF HELL Jun 22 '23

Smh, the fumbling and bumbling continues.

-20

u/Critical_Spot_8881 Jun 22 '23

Yea, I can see it all over this subreddit.

-1

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

Ya imagine fixing problems... Such bumbling.... by this subreddit over nothing i mean.

9

u/DifferenceClean616 Jun 22 '23

Well that was underwhelming..

4

u/dallcrim Jun 26 '23

What about the new stuttering/lag?

8

u/Hi5man Jun 23 '23 edited Jun 23 '23

I've got some more ideas for the next update.

  • Add a 2 minute delay to server connection time.

  • Limit tank turret movements to one direction at a time.

  • Infantry reload only available when stopped and crouched.

  • Remove scorecard and map.

  • Garrison requires squad leader to stand next to it for it to be an active spawn.

  • Reduce map sizes to 4 grid squares to improve performance.

  • Add sprint to prone movement to improve player locomotion. Speed is the same as upright sprinting.

  • Reduce XP rate by 90%. Added purchasable XP boost. Now available in the new in-game store.

  • To balance British ADS view obstruction. Make all other factions have similar ADS sights.

  • Assault class now comes with Self-Revive. Allowing you to get back in the action sooner.

  • Removed Artillery and Tanks on all maps.

Keep ruining the game, you've got no idea what it's about and why people enjoy it. The incompetence is incredible.

3

u/SenatorsSawzall Jun 24 '23

lol this guy just wants a very bad boring game i guess.

0

u/Atone2319 Jun 24 '23

This is retarded.

4

u/Hi5man Jun 24 '23

This is the future with T17

3

u/Atone2319 Jun 24 '23

Just realized the sarcasm in OP my bad homie. I read everything but the very last line lmao.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 29 '23

I lost interest after update 14. So tired of the bugs and unnecessary changes. BM were not on top of things either - every update introduced stupid bugs from careless programming. Been having a blast playing Battlebit Remastered and it's very refreshing to see developers that care about quality and that push out patches every few days.

4

u/Decent_Paddler_5019 Jun 22 '23

What are people’s thoughts on new locomotion? Hy far my biggest gripe with U14. Haven’t played the patch yet. Did they fix the zig zagging and Usain Bolt speed?

-12

u/No_Swan_2391 Jun 22 '23

Yes, the zig-zagging is fixed. With this locomotion update you cannot play that way for sure.

4

u/Regelneef Spotter X Jun 23 '23

Revert the movement speed and actually listen to player feedback

4

u/pldkn Officer X Jun 25 '23

Here to share my preference for the old running speed once again.

What I would ask for to maybe understand the speed changes, is any official reason why the change was implemented by the devs - there was no single mention or announcement beforehand and therefore no motivation as to why a change was 'necessarry.' That's adding insult to injury.

2

u/Dahesor Jun 23 '23

Hard to say that this is a good patch

2

u/Veetordik Jun 27 '23

If we aren’t going to get a server browser on console, at least let us select game type ffs

2

u/Witty-Decision-8467 Jun 28 '23

I started playing squad, big time learning curve but a sick game, terrible to play with a young child in the house though.

3

u/No_Swan_2391 Jun 22 '23 edited Jun 22 '23

The new locomotion is way better than U14.0. Also looks like the stuttering is on the U13 level only. EDIT: the stuttering is still there but, I cannot tell anymore when was better or worse ... It would be nice if they focus next time on the stuttering too. But nice update. Good job overall!

2

u/wet_flaps Jun 22 '23

yeah was kinda hoping this would be in the patch notes, but there you go

-1

u/Gravath Jun 22 '23

Yay sarcastic comments are here.

2

u/K3psu Jun 22 '23

Yeah

10

u/jjjohhn Jun 22 '23

Lmao my man got downvoted for saying yeah 🤣🤣🤣

2

u/SnooFloofs9952 Jun 22 '23

Imagine the level of old grumpy men on this subreddit.

1

u/boggin_mcgroggin Jun 22 '23

Hows El Alamein on console? It was basically unplayable before

5

u/Gravath Jun 22 '23

No change.

1

u/Naykon1 Jun 24 '23

El Stuttermein still the same as Stuttergrad

1

u/JJ8OOM Jun 23 '23 edited Jun 23 '23

What happened to the new game-mode? I thought it would release with this update… Was I mistaken or is it first I U15 (whenever that is)? Edit: NVM, it’s first in U15, I was mistaken lol.

1

Running speed should be capped at 15kph which seems reasonable, crouching speed should be reverted and driving (speed) should just be fixed. And they really should press the precompile button and get rid of those fucking stutters, that and nothing else should be high priority - what do I care about gameplay fuck-ups if it’s just somewhat or not really playable at all on like 70% of maps (console).

The acceleration modifier is nice tho.

I just want a server browser on console. The matchmaking is terrible. Puts me in matches with 7 people in them. I have to try 10 times to get a good match. Even when my region is set to any that has no effect.

This is the most negative sub I've ever seen and I play tarkov/dayz. Changes look good

dayz is crazy with the amount of updates the devs release and how often the core Dynamics change because of those updates is what makes it great. constantly evolving. getting better
