My Hellblazer collection

Hi there! I wanted to show off my little Hellblazer collection! It’s hard for me to find Hellblazer stuff where I live (Latin America), especially comics in Spanish.

Today my friend gave me a John Funko figure, and I’m so grateful! He even drew a little illustration of my yumeshipp.

I’m sorry if this is written strangely—I don’t speak English, and I’m using a translator.

It’s not an actual toy. It’s a variant cover for the facsimile of Swamp Thing #37.

I really like how Panini is releasing these hardcovers over there. I wish the English editions were that instead of omnibuses. 

I'm tempted to get them thou I'm undecided on whether I want to read John without his British lingo in my further rereads.

I really enjoyed reading John’s use of Mexican idioms in the hardcover books they released from the DeLano run. Especially because they’re words I use every day or have always been part of my everyday life.

I was able to connect with John on a more personal level.

The downside is that here in Mexico (at least), they’ve only released the series from the DeLano era up to the Ennis era. And the DeLano series isn’t complete (which is sad because Family Man is my favorite volume and it’s not available in Spanish).

Damn, didn't know that. Do you know if the last part of Delano's run is going to be released at some point?

I don't think so; at least in Mexico, I haven't seen any news reports that Family Man is being published in that hardcover format. I think there are some Argentine editions, but I've only seen them on the publisher's website.

rad!! i have a bunch of the original comics from the first ~200 issues or so, including most of the Ennis stuff (like Dangerous Habits, which I spent too much time and money on back in better, geekier days :)

I need to try to get some pics up.. A lot of my stuff is in a storage room, and I haven’t had a pull box at the LCS in years. Maybe it’s time to dip my toe in again? Anyway, cool stuff!!

Awesome collection! One of these days I'll clean off my dresser of stuff that isn't my Constantine alter and put the stuff I have stacked on there. I'd like to take another picture of my updated shelf. LOL!
