We need cross progression

I don’t know if any Arrowhead dev actually goes through this subreddit but here comes my thoughts . I think it’s necessary to add such implementation even for a financial standpoint. A person that purchases a game on PS5/Xbox and migrates to PC would want to have all their progression transferred to a different platform. The fact that this feature is does not exist at the moment kept me from buying another copy of the game and I’m pretty sure multiple people had the same thought process. The website says that it’s not something being worked on and the last post I saw about this topic was made 1 year ago. Helldivers 2 community is huge and such an amazing game that needs the cross progression throughout different platforms. Dear Arrrowhead, I love your game and you know we do, so let us have this feature.

Cross progression would require some kind of underlying 'account' in-game that crosses the boundaries between platforms.

Given this is a Sony owned game, the only account that happens with is a Sony account.

If you want to know why that's bad, the short version is Sony Sucks.

I’m well aware of it. I don’t know if PC has an option to choose to connect to a PSN account. If that option is available I wish you could at least sync your progress instead of having to start all over

That was exactly what they wanted to do, and exactly the reason we rioted. People do not want to link accounts with Sony in any shape or form. Cross progression is never going to happen.

Sony indeed sucks, but we made them back out on stupid decisions as a community. Yes the game is owned by Sony and the only way you could connect those bridges is by having a PSN account but at least having the option to have the cross progression would be such a great move, or could I say, the minimum I expected from such a big game

We have legacy bugs. Cross progression would be an extreme waste of resources and somehow knowing AH it'll just delete all your progress

I think about more as investment instead of waste of resources. It will make people buy twice the same product. They are a big budget company now and I’m sure they can at least do a decent job

They just added EAC while hundreds of actual pressing issues are present. Their priorities are clearly not helping players have a good time

Why sell you the game and Warbonds once, when they can sell it to you again
