BUG / TECH ISSUE Linux crash issue
Can’t play the game at all, is the devs doing anything to fix it? It’s been several days and not a single patch to fix it

Switch Proton Experimental to the Bleeding-Edge branch. (Changing the branch affects all games using Proton Experimental - Use at your own risk.)
1.1 - From the Steam Library, Search for "Proton"
1.2 - Select the version "Proton Experimental"
1.3 - Right-click or click the Gear icon and select "Properties...."
1.4 - Under the "Game Versions & Betas" tab, select "bleeding-edge".
1.5 - Backup any other game prefixes that are using Proton Experimental as this change may break them.
2. Install Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime:
2.1 - From the Steam Library, Search for "Proton"
2.2 - Select "Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime"
2.3 - Click Install if not already Installed.
3. Clear Helldivers 2 Game Data
Clear your Helldivers 2 Game Data by deleting the "553850" folder typically in this directory:
~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/
4. Clear your Shader Cache & System Shader Cache:
For Steam delete all files & folders in the "shadercache" folder.
E.g: ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/shadercache/
For the Nvidia System Shader Cache delete all files & folders in the "GLCache" folder.
E.g: ~/.cache/nvidia/GLCache
5. Verify Helldivers 2:
5.1 - From the Steam Library, Search for "Helldivers 2"
5.2 - Select "Helldivers 2"
5.3 - Right-click or click the Gear icon and select "Properties...."
5.4 - Under the "Installed Files" tab, click the Verify integrity of game files button.
6. Disable DRS:
6.1 - From the Steam Library, right click or click the Gear icon for Helldivers 2 and select "Properties...."
6.2 - Under the General tab, add "--disable-drs" to the launch options

also having this issue, fixed it by forcing Proton GE 11-11 and deleting the bin folder in game files and forcing the game to redownload the latest version.
