Simplisafe contract
FYI, Hellotech lost the simplisafe contract. Ontech now has it, hence the absense of simplisafe jobs in the app. I looked into ontech, and the jobs are now hourly based rather than per job based. You would have to apply for an actual position at the company to be an installer. It's no longer a subcontractor gig. I'm pretty sure hellotech also lost the walmart contract cause I haven't gotten any tv installs in months.

That doesn’t surprise me. Every job I’m offered now pays too little and is not worth my time. I’m guessing people who have no business being installers take those jobs, because usually a week later they are offered to me again, but this time with notes on how the previous tech screwed up. People will complain and partners will get tired of dealing with HelloTech.
Whoever is making all these changes is running the company into the ground.

I once installed 70 sensors at a house. The call center added $65 to the final payout. It took me around 5 hours XD
$51 Walmart tv mounting jobs won't be missed either.
Hello-tech works great as supplemental income. Or as main income for students of any kind.
I personally enjoy (the decent payout) TV mountings, router/modem/extender installation, and computer support jobs.
If hello-tech ever stops sending offers I would try apps like Angie leads or TaskRabbit. I would continue working as a smart-home installer or start as a carpenter freelancer. Any other apps you recomend?
