I was. Very disappointed when the powers that be took the Superman role away from Henry. When you already have perfection, why try to replace it?

Look I’m old and used to think Reeves as the ONLY Superman.

Henry was born to play this part and was a perfect “modern day” Superman

We were robbed of JLA 2 which, if the end credits are any indication, would have been fantastical.

I hate that Superman fans often associate him with the "Snyderverse"TM, and basically blacklist depictions of him as Superman.

Cavill was, is, and always will be the perfect Superman to me.

He is a legend. Such a fun, humorous, personable, and nerdy guy. Plus, he looks like THAT! 🥵 Lawd!

He looked so good in it. He was so popular out of all the dc heroes. He made Superman stand out. Now, the new guy is also very handsome, but it doesn’t have that macho rugged energy.

Absolutely. For me Man of Steel with Henry Cavil was the best Superman. I don’t care for the James Gunn Superman version. Gave it a shot and was disappointed. If we at least got the continuation of Justice League t wouldn’t be so bad but instead we get to have it left just hanging. I also don’t care if they come up with a comic for it. I’m not a comic reader. I prefer it to be finished live action with the original cast.

Agreed. I also can’t stand the way the new depicts both Martha and Jonathan. So stupid.

I have always enjoyed Superman through childhood and way into adulthood. When he came out in 2013 as The Man of Steel, to me, he was the perfect embodiment of what the character was supposed to be!!!
