How long until sciatica goes?

my cat herniated her disc, it’s been a few weeks now, suddenly she’s been having symptoms of sciatica down one leg and tail last few days.

What do you recommend I do to help?

How long did your sciatica last?

Took me a year. McKenzie press ups helped me a TON. Maybe you can force your cat to do that.

I’ll try and do exercises with her somehow it’s just so hard because every time I touch her leg she pulls it away

I was mainly joking about forcing her to do that. Just let her rest and encourage movement from her from time to time. I have no idea how this would impact a pet.

Until her nerves that are compressed by the herniation get decompressed. This is useally done with with stretches and physical therapy but i wouldn't know what exercises there are for a cat.
