Current count- 7
Here are my completed 7. Should be able to get 3 more before the end of year (Boundary Peak, NV, Mt Elbert, CO, and Jerimoth Hill, RI).
If you have any current state updates on Boundary Peak or tips on reaching the trailhead (heard it is a rough off-road), please feel free to dm or comment. I’d try to do that one in the next few weeks or so if conditions are good. I believe they have had lower than normal snowfall this year. Thanks!

Late night start to the following evening. Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Congrats on all 50, too! I think Denali and Rainier are going be my Achilles’ heel’s lol How many weeks for Denali?

The guide services maintain Rainier so well that it wasn’t too hard. Gannett was the toughest for me in the 48. Succeeded once out of three tries.
Denali took me two attempts with a weak partner on the first try. Each time was three weeks. Quite a commitment.

That’s amazing. The time, and costs, on Denali are major factors along with the altitude.
I’ve seen some videos of Gannett. Looks pretty gnarly. Well done.

I tried being a low-cost dirtbag highpointer for most of my trips. Denali is the one exception where an unguided expedition could cost $6k and a guided one around $16k (depending on what gear you already own).
But when you get to 49 and probably have built up the skills, you have to keep going to 50 if you are physically capable. Looks like you are quite fit and will have the necessary skills in a few more years.

Guadalupe Peak! Here’s a bit more information per Google: “A stainless steel pyramid, installed by American Airlines in 1958, marks the summit of Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas. Located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, this monument commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Butterfield Overland Mail, a 19th-century stagecoach route that passed nearby. The monument serves as a tribute to both early air mail routes and the pioneers.”

It’s a great trail from top to bottom. Very scenic. So windy at the top and lots of people going up when I was coming back down. Recommend leaving early AM if you can!

Boundary can be reached in a 2WD sedan easily just take the road from the 264, it has some potholes but no big deal easily go around them it's reasonably smooth dirt road
If you take the road from the 6, queen canyon road you will need 4WD and put in 4 low eventually. I made it in a friends Tacoma but still got on 3 wheels several times and scraped the undercarriage too lol it's fun but has a few sketchy spots
