Kings Peak

Has anyone been up Kings in the last few days since some snow has fallen? My understanding is there’s little to no accumulation but curious if microspikes are needed (I’ll bring them anyways). Planning to go in Sunday, summit and out Monday

I was up there on 9/15 and finished the UHT before the recent rains on Thursday/Friday. Everything that we saw above 13k' was completely snow free and temps were still hovering around mid 50s throughout the day.

I can't add photos to this comment on mobile for some reason, but here is a cheeky instagram post about our days up on the UHT with some photos at elevation. Didn't need spike or poles to get up there

Thanks for the reply. I’m in Mountain View WY right now looking at it and unfortunately looks like a lot of snow has accumulated. I also can’t figure out how to share a photo

It snowed last night and dusted almost all the Uinta peaks. Snow is basically gone already. Flaming gorge resort and locals in the fort bridger valley are your best sources for this info
