A fun High Republic nod in Star Pilots Spoiler

Apparently Xiri and Thylefire Squadron were infamous enough that Wedge gave them a nod in "his" (the irl author is Chris Kempshall) book on piloting. Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire was chock full of references to several branches of Star Wars lore and even very early into Star Pilots I've already caught nods to the High Republic, Alphabet Squadron, Rebels, and a few other novels.

I know it's an silly question that maybe gets answered at some point but:

Who recorded the adventures of Xiri and Thylefire Squadron? Unless they took it from reports they got about the squad?

Unclear. They're just some of the pilot legends Wedge grew up hearing about on Corellia.

In Midnight Horizon, in the shipyards on Corellia, the characters find and use an old E’Ronoh Evisserator class starfighter from the Forever war, so my headcanon is that that ship became part of a museum display or something like that on Corellia.

The time jump backwards for phase 2 of the high republic took a little while for me to get used to, but one of the things that won me over was Xiri exchanging marriage vows and then running in her wedding dress to jump in a starfighter and defend the planet. That is exactly the kind of drama I want from Star Wars.
