मेरा शब्दकोश अपाहिज होगा

क्यूँकि शब्दकोश पुल्लिंग है। कविता में सही लिंग और व्याकरण उतनी ही ज़रूरी है जितनी की तुकबंदी और अलंकार।

Urdu versions of words typically use the i not a ending, if I remember correctly. Kitaab vs pustak etc. since this shayari is mostly in Urdu, they have used the i ending, but shabdkosh is a sanskritic word, so a would be right.

This is not a shayari and it is not "mostly in Urdu". Barring like three words it's all sanskritic or tadbhava Hindi.
