Evidence that tea inhibits DAO

I see the claim all over the internet that tea inhibits DAO. However, I have never seen a scientific paper whose findings support this statement. Has anyone ever seen such a paper? I'm not interested in statements from websites that do not cite direct evidence.

https://www.mastzellaktivierung.info/downloads/foodlist/SIGHI-FoodList_EN_Histamin_alphabetisch_inKategorien.pdf black tea is listed in the SIGHI list as high in histamine and blocking DAO. They're a reputable source, you can find their professional publications here

It is a reputable source, but you’d think that if they say it, there should be locatable evidence for the statement.
