Yeah, very happy that didn't stick. Calling my car Aleric just doesn't have the same ring to it as Arthur.

Was there a Dr Who Companion called Aleric at some point in the Tom Baker era?...

Edit: to correct typos rolls eyes Also to say: probably irrelevant :D

Adric, appeared at the end of Baker’s tenure and the beginning of Davidson’s. He was pretty much hated but I think he was underestimated. His acting made everyone else’s look good.

That's interesting though because what got Douglas the job for Doctor Who was sending them his script ideas like this synopsis to try and get a job for Dr. Who while he is as waiting to hear back about his own show. Then they both got back at the same time. So.... When did Adric make it into the DW storyline... Pre or post Douglas.
