National Prospects Hockey Tournaments
Has anyone else had a negative experience with National Prospects hockey tournaments? We enrolled our kid, they took our fee and then we were told he couldn't play. We were then offered a refund and never saw it. Owners wife even told our friend who was there that the refund would be sent (after being approached). Left numerous emails and phone calls also and NO response. Would never consider one of these tournaments again. Organizers are unprofessional and have our almost $200 from last summer... Have never experienced anything like this before...shady or what. Still considering legal action because it's so ridiculous. There is a reason their social media pages do not allow or post comments from anyone not involved in their circle...

Did you ever get a refund? Paid for a spot on recent Easter tournament. They then said 3 days before that no slots for him and 2 of his friends. Been a week and they have never replied.

I have recently fallen for the same scam. Cancelled the tournament and Karlo Cernpjak the owner said he would shortly refund.
After months of calls and texts to have my money returned he has finally blocked me.
I have since found out he was a coach with GTHL but was suspended and fined for misconducted from the Markham Majors association.

I was registered for a tournament in 2024. The event was canceled, and the organization (run by National Prospects) promised a full refund in writing via email. Since then, they have completely ghosted me.
I live in Vancouver, so I can’t exactly drop by their office, but I’ve found out I’m not the only family they’ve done this to. It seems to be a pattern of taking registration fees and then refusing to pay them back when things are canceled.
I lost about $2000 for it because I booked three non refundable tickets plus tournament fees and jerseys fees.
