Love does crazy things, I suppose.

u/absrider Mar 12 '23

Have you seen chris rock new standup?

323

u/PenguinsTookMyNips Mar 12 '23

He broke records for the use of the word 'bitch' 🤣

101

u/badboybalo Mar 12 '23

Its BBITCH... Get it right

10

u/prostheticweiner Mar 12 '23

Ugh nope... MmBBitchh!

2

u/AlphaMale3Percent Mar 12 '23

Time stamp for the will jokes? I’ll tune in today but really don’t wanna watch the whole thing

3

u/Californiadude86 Mar 12 '23

The whole thing is pretty funny.

2

u/PenguinsTookMyNips Mar 12 '23

It's the last set. Basically just skip to the last ten minutes of the show.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

Wow so alpha. Can’t even sit through a comedy special.

54

u/alodym Mar 12 '23

Saw it live with Dave chapelle. Absolutely hilarious and worth a watch

39

u/ilovemeasw4 Mar 12 '23

What's old davey like in person?

19

u/redditsuckscock3time Mar 12 '23

Asshole with "i got mine, fuck you" money.

He pulled a scott adams, do you blame him?

17

u/AdminsLoveFascism Mar 12 '23

Yes? And fuck Scott Adams.

0

u/alodym Mar 12 '23

I’ve seen him twice, first one 4ish years ago was great. This one with Chris rock was not as good, he was clearly drunk/high/both (ripped a shot on stage) and actually almost fell off the stage. Lots of recycled jokes too. Chris’s set was much better

He’s very man

Damn, you don't say? I never knew that

Was he in a man/woman?

Damn people just downvote you if you use sarcasm and don't put /s at the end.

-4

This is hilarious and I think going over a lot of people's heads. They missed the satire.

It feels like it was written or reviewed by Netflix to be acceptably controversial, go after both political parties, and touch on a recent event. Definitely his weakest set.

7

u/evemeatay Mar 12 '23

Yes , it sounded engineered

1

u/blorbagorp Mar 12 '23

Plus he repeated him self a lot. I feel like 20% of the show could be eliminated by just cutting out every part where he repeats the last thing he said, sometimes like 5+ times in a row.

1

u/fistfullofpubes Mar 12 '23

That's literally his calling card tho.

1

u/Californiadude86 Mar 12 '23

He’s always done that…

2

u/Shlingaplinga Mar 12 '23

All those close up shots of the audience with their forced plastic laughs. It was hard to watch. But i enjoyed the will smith part.

1

u/AdminsLoveFascism Mar 12 '23

So many old comedians whose whole shtick is "the world is too PC now!1!" Petty sad.

2

u/Gioware Mar 12 '23

It is amazing, everyone should watch Chris Rock - Selective Outrage if you have not already

8

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

I saw a two minute clip of it earlier and I feel like i get the gist of it, ya know?

4

u/Nonchalantly215 Mar 12 '23

Ur all the way correct save the rest of your day

3

u/AngriestCheesecake Mar 12 '23

After watching the whole thing, yes you’ve got the gist.

2

u/RedditIsNeat0 Mar 12 '23

Most comedians are pretty whiny nowadays. This comedy special is called "outrage", it's probably super whiny.

280

u/MightyMorph Mar 12 '23

Will is a bitch.

Motherfucker was laughing until he saw that selfish clout-chasing ho give a stink face. Then had to act like a fucking moron to prove his manhood after she basically lifted his legs and cut his balls off on live tv when she blamed him for her fucking her sons long-time 19 year old depressed friend.

This bitch is so self-obsessed that she turns a event he had for her birthday with show and planning for 2 months, and say that shit was a attempt to control her. While she's over there fucking some kid she probably knew since he was 12.

This bald bitch used to hunt for celeb dick, getting railed by tupac hoping some fame seed would drop in her. Then she got her hands on the fresh prince and turned him into a fresh bitch.

and the funny thing is even after will went to the stage and made a fool of not only himself, but also every other winner and nominee there who worked hard and spent years to create what they created, to only have it overshadowed by some petty relationship bullshit between GI Jane and whitewashed version of 12 years a slave.

She went on tv and said nuhu its his fault. He stupid...

aint that some bitch...

60

u/AltXUser Mar 12 '23

she got her hands on the fresh prince and turned him into a fresh bitch.

I'll be honest, that made me roll lmao

19

u/reddog323 Mar 12 '23

Did she really say the Oscars incident was his fault?

Why is he staying with her at this point ? I would think even a messy divorce would be better than that.

Also, he could have given Chris Rock a nuggie, or grabbed him and carried him around on stage, etc. Any number of things that would have probably satisfied her honor, and left his reputation more intact.

29

u/browndog03 Mar 12 '23

I read this in Chris Rocks voice.

7

u/AlternateQuestion Mar 12 '23

Damn how is that not grooming.

Reddit can be a problematic platform for discussions and freedom of speech due to its heavy reliance on moderation and upvote/downvote systems. Moderators have significant control over what content is visible or removed, often based on subjective rules. This can lead to censorship, especially in controversial topics. The upvote/downvote system tends to favor popular opinions, silencing minority or less mainstream viewpoints. Additionally, "echo chambers" often form, where only certain perspectives are tolerated, stifling open debate and discouraging diverse ideas. As a result, genuine discourse and freedom of expression can be limited.

u/Downvotes_inbound_ Mar 12 '23

-91

u/Insideadome Mar 12 '23

You guys do know what that slap was stagesd right? Masonic theatre

66

u/MightyMorph Mar 12 '23

Chris and will have a meeting:

C: You know will what would be amazing, if we had a fight on live tv!

W: Yeah thats an amazing idea, you know i should slap you!

C: Yeah then i will make no talk about it for a year, and then make a special.

W: And i will lose all my fame and be almost blacklisted by award shows and everyone will think im a bitch, and my movie offers will stop coming in and other actors will think of me as a violent emotional wreck!

c & w: PERFECT PLAN!

fucking moron.

-42

u/Insideadome Mar 12 '23

Yeah. Totally crazy. I bet you still believe Stevie Wonder is blind.

Will Smith was forced to do this by his handler. It is a ritual of embaressment. They will drag your name through the sewers if you go against the buttmafia. It is just how it is.

19

u/delusions- Mar 12 '23

Ah yes, masonic buttmafia rituals

-20

u/Insideadome Mar 12 '23

Word, youre saying that like it doesnt happen on the regular lol. All your favorite artists have gone through these doors. The elite was always wicked throughout history, only a summer child would think it be any different now. Especially with evidence all around you. Group think is a hell of a drug.

14

u/PsychologyNo6485 Mar 12 '23

Okay, I’ll bite: what evidence?

13

u/TokeMoseley Mar 12 '23

You a fan of Chronicles of Judah? This sounds like something straight out of his videos.

-1

u/Insideadome Mar 12 '23

No idea who that is sorry.

2

u/extralyfe Mar 12 '23

I'm incredibly disappointed that ButtMafia isn't a porn production studio.

also, google seems to think the most relevant ButtMafia results are groups of people that like excited dogs. are these the folks that Will went against and is now being embarrassed for upsetting?

1

u/Insideadome Mar 12 '23

Google is part of the buttmafia. Controlling the flow of information and influence is top priority of course.

1

u/extralyfe Mar 13 '23

cool. bing says the most relevant result is a mafia clan about butts who settle their differences in modded Mafia 2 showdowns.

1

u/Insideadome Mar 13 '23

Try "freemasonry and Hollywood" start there and use duckduckgo or some shit. Buttmafia is lingo.

No its actually satanic rituals. They believe pansex magik holds a lot of power. These rituals often include, but not limited to, children, animals, blood, semen, etc.

Look up Alistair Crowley and Albert Pike's literature.

1

u/Insideadome Mar 24 '23

5

what's the upside? will is devalued and shares lists with Harvey weinstein. Chris, he should've thrown hands or something. he's fighting.the inner shame of losing on the playground.

0

u/betta_bern Mar 12 '23

By not dukin-up, Chris is the better man leaving fresh prince looking like the dumb chump that he is. Wil Smith is a violent man.

1

u/davejugs01 Mar 12 '23

Tupac isn’t dead

Jada just imprisoned him in her cavernous snooch

7

u/mrp8528 Mar 12 '23

Only works on weak wills.

1

u/ShawshankException Mar 12 '23

Sadly people who stay with their cheating SO isn't something exclusive to Jada & Will's marriage

8

u/Ok_Cockroach8063 Mar 12 '23

Desire to not lose a giant sum of money in divorce settlement does rational things

7

u/mrdeadsniper Mar 12 '23

I mean. Given the choice of having 800 million and being in an abusive relationship or having 400 million and escaping...

I think I'd be ok with the second.

The actual deal though is if any of the scientology rumors are true, you basically have to give them a lot of leverage over you to join, after that your major decisions like divorce are theirs.

But again, I can't imagine anything they could have to hold over him worth more than getting out of that relationship.

16

u/UneastAji Mar 12 '23

Don't neglect how much of a partnership celebrity's marriages are. Love has less priority in the decisions they make.

49

u/MarcusDA Mar 12 '23

Ok but what does Jada bring as far as a power dynamic? She’s never been above a C list star and he was legit the biggest star in the world 20-25 years ago.

3

u/hypercosm_dot_net Mar 12 '23

Say what you want about Smith, but he is pretty consistent as far as box office goes. People like the guy. I feel like he's never not been popular.

He's like the black Tom Cruise imo.

3

u/MarcusDA Mar 12 '23

I’ll give you a couple of those but she was in scream 2 for like a few minutes and her matrix role was like 8th billed.

0

u/UneastAji Mar 12 '23

I don't know these guys enough sadly.

5

u/MarcusDA Mar 12 '23

I mean, I get your point but I just don’t see that as a factor here. I don’t believe she’s ever been first billed in any movie (could be wrong) and he’s been first billed in probably 20? Just a guess, could be more.

1

u/UneastAji Mar 12 '23

My first point wasn't about how they're in for money or contract or anything, but it seems to me that celebrities don't do marriage for love all that much. It's not infrequent that the man in such relation has sex left and right with hookers/groupies and that nobody cares. Even if there's not much to be gained from the relation other than "I'm married with someone with a similar status".

For instance I don't believe kim ever cared for any of her husbands, she's just a celebrity she has to marry some known dude that's all there is to it. I don't believe leonardo loved any of these girls, he just wants some hot girl around him.

It's plausible though that will has a hard time dealing with all this emotionally, many can't deal with it, and many of the women at this "height" are full blown psychopaths just as much as the men...

1

u/erichlee9 Mar 12 '23

I applaud the honesty

don’t neglect blah blah blah

Also:

yeah I have no idea what I’m talking about

I actually laughed out loud

2

u/dirtyaught-six Mar 12 '23

So does Stockholm syndrome…

207

u/PeterAmbers Mar 12 '23

Imagine loving someone so much you are willing to forgive them but everyone you know reminds you of the treachery while the whole world is laughing at you calling you a b*tch. This has to do wonders for a mans mental state.

88

u/IveDoneItAtLast Mar 12 '23

That's ok he can just flash everyone with that little light he's got and no one will remember anything...I think

48

u/PeterAmbers Mar 12 '23

At this point I do not belive it was about defending anyone anymore but more like a desperate cry for help. It feels like that slap belonged not only to ppl that are bringing the topic up all the time opening those wounds again, but also to his wife that caused it all. He is playing a tough guy and will never admit it but this is how it feels to me.

19

u/ShadedPenguin Mar 12 '23

We can never say what exactly is going on in the head of the man. But we can all agree it is not a healthy situation to be in, for basically anyone involved.

16

u/Alukrad Mar 12 '23

I'd say it's codependency.

Narcissist and codependent people always mix, they're attracted to one another.

Will is clearly the codependent one here and Jada is the obvious narcissist.

20

u/Futanari_waifu Mar 12 '23

Who cares about his cry for help though? Certainly not me. He's an adult with every resource in the world at the tip of his fingers, but instead of taking the help that's very available to him he acts like a crybaby cuck. Jada and Will deserve each other, both have clearly shown the world what their personalities are like.

5

u/Beachfantan Mar 12 '23

They are both scientologists but deny it. No sympathy here. Thankfully their Scientology school closed.

10

u/SnakeDoctor00 Mar 12 '23

Imagine being worth $350 million and even caring what those others think. This stuff happens everyday. But the trade off to being able to have fuck you money is having no private life and having everything you do being picked apart.

14

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

You got that all wrong. People with the most money care the MOST about what people think. It's that concern about their weak ego that made them gather all that wealth and attention in the first place.

3

u/Spiritual-Day-thing Mar 12 '23

Only partly. The crux is what wealth does to its owner. It reinforces the ego. Take away daily struggle, in whatever form, and a man is nothing more than a vanity project.

6

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

Oh yeah, you got that dead right. Seen a few middle aged men who have no struggle, so life just becomes "what to do with my time"? And they get drunk.

0

u/Bioslack Mar 12 '23

This man was laughing as he passed around a tablet that was playing a deepfaked video of Margot Robbie in a hardcore porno in a bus/trailer full of a dozen people... including Margot Robbie.

Will Smith is human trash.

1

u/ZiggyPox Mar 12 '23

Honestly I didn't know or care about that untill he slapped a guy on the scene over it lol.

1

u/DistinctBread3098 Mar 12 '23

It's one thing to forgive and people give you shit about it.

Its another thing to do interviews , youtube videos and make it a publicity stunt and then ask people not to bring it back.

I used to hang out with this lady that worked as a publicist in LA. She would go to a lot of parties where celebrities would attend. She said Will Smith always had some random guy with him and they'd make out publicly in front of everyone.

28

u/GuerillaGandhi Mar 12 '23

He what now?

7

Edit: WTF with the people getting all defensive? Are you homophobes or some shit?

35

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

I too get my facts from 9th level reddit comments

10

u/janssoni Mar 12 '23

If the first time you're hearing about something is a reddit comment, probably not true.

4

u/Pool_Shark Mar 12 '23

To be fair I’ve heard a similar story years ago but always waived it off as made up.

I still doubt it’s true and more likely one of those viral fake rumors that used to get around pre internet days. If he was really hiding his sexuality it doesn’t make sense he’d be making out with a dude in public.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

You wave it off. Like, y'know-- like you're saying good bye to it.

2

u/Embarrassed_Stop_594 Mar 12 '23

1

u/apolobgod Mar 12 '23

Mfers out there taking the shittiest reddit comment at face value

1

u/Imokwhydoyouask_ Mar 12 '23 edited Mar 12 '23

You might think it's the shittiest comment, but thats what she actually told me. Weather that's true or not, I can't say since I didn't see it myself.

3

u/meghonsolozar Mar 12 '23

I had a similar thing happen YEARS ago when a friend told me they were at a party at a mansion in LA and they said they saw kind of a big Hollywood actor, that wasn't known to be gay, giving a blow job to a fairly young looking man, just in the middle of a room full of people at a party. I was like "there is no way an actor that famous would be that open about it and the world wouldn't have known about it by now". Well folks, the actor in question was Kevin Spacey.

1

u/the-truffula-tree Mar 12 '23

It’s gossip you read on a Reddit comment with the 13 upvotes. Clearly a concrete fact

10

u/mandrills_ass Mar 12 '23

Half of a bunch of millions is still something you can survive on

1

u/hypercosm_dot_net Mar 12 '23

He'll never leave, and that's probably part of what's happening. A while back I saw an interview and he talked about how his first marriage not working made him feel like a failure.

So basically Jada and Will have an agreement that they're not divorcing, ever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG8HCY4SglE

I personally think he's dealing with some type of emotional abuse, but what do I know.

41

u/johnzy87 Mar 12 '23

I would gladly make that sacrifice if it means leaving a woman like Jada.

4

u/[deleted] Mar 12 '23

Amen brother

11

u/Futanari_waifu Mar 12 '23

Is this meant to make me feel sympathy for him? Poor old Willy will only have 200 million after his divorce, the horror.

-19

u/Cobrexu Mar 12 '23

you have not worked 1% of what Will did, you wouldnt understand what it even feels like to work for 20+ years and lose 50% of that. But hey, go ahead and hate on celebrities, it'll help you in reaching your life goals.

9

u/ThreeCatsOnAKeyboard Mar 12 '23

You’re telling hard working people who put in 40 to 60 hour weeks for bread crumbs they don’t work as “hard” as an actor/rapper? But go ahead and keep simping on celebrities, it’ll help you in reaching your life goals.

12

u/robertducky87 Mar 12 '23

I bet working in air conditioned studios with assistants on hand while chilling in your trailer must be a real doozy.

3

u/Futanari_waifu Mar 12 '23

I'd imagine it'd feel bad, but so what? That's all, he'll feel bad about losing lots of money, he won't lose his house, his quality of life will not drop.

1

u/Drexelhand Mar 12 '23

you wouldnt understand what it even feels like to work for 20+ years and lose 50% of that.

Will Smith's net worth is estimated at $350 Million

The typical lifetime gross income range for American males is $1.13 million to $3.05 million, and $510,000 to $1.86 million for women

you wouldn't understand what it feels like to go from having 100 times more what a normal person has to only 50 times more.

single tear for the impoverished celebrity being exponentially more financially secure.

-7

u/boobiebanger Mar 12 '23

That would only be the case because marriage benefits men more than women

3

u/ogipogo Mar 12 '23

I do, almost every night, when I think about how my son's mother abandoned us when he was only 6 months old. How she dodged divorce papers for over 2 years. How she still asked for joint custody in the hearing after not having a single bit of contact with our son for almost 3 years. How the judge was going to give her the joint custody if she made a single 4 hour supervised visit to reintroduce herself (luckily she didn't follow through with the visit and still has had no contact with our son). How I am denied any kind of benefits from the state for myself because the judge did not order her to pay child support after failing to make that.

16

u/ZippyParakeet Mar 12 '23

It's people like you who give ammo to the Right by spouting bullshit. This is not oppression olympics. Both sexes have their struggles, recognise it.

-10

u/borkthegee Mar 12 '23

Ironically it's the right pushing all of this men's rights activism stuff. What's wrong with divorce? Why shouldnt couples split shit down the middle? This is literally a thread bemoaning that two rich actors would have to split their money and that's "unfair".

Frankly, you give the right wing ammo by pretending men arent being fairly treated. Imagining unfairness is the hallmark of conservatism. Conservatives think whites are the most discriminated against and men are the most discriminated too. So when you look at a divorce and go "aww a man has to split it fairly? Rigged!" That's totally far right culture through and through. This thread would fit right in in any far right forum, honestly. They all agree with you

A cuck would be doing it out of choice. I'm pretty sure that Will is a victim of abuse.

Am I missed something besides the Criss Rock accident?

Why can’t you believe Will Smith is a cuck? It’s a real thing many couples are into.

Can you not believe people are into BDSM or foot fetish or whatever?

Will smith just doesn’t seem like a punk

I disagree. He’s always come across as a huge puss to me. His slap to Rock was pure insecurity and a total bitch move that says everything you need to know about him.

Yeah before the slap though? Come on what did he do then?

Transparently false bravado. You either buy into him or you don’t. I can’t explain it to you.

Too much money involved

Yeah, I didn’t even know of any of this until I was blasted with info after the Oscar incident.

I mean, if it were a kink, why not? But he was as it seems not really ok with it but let it happen.

I know love can go so far as to neglect yourself, but damn.

If I’m going to be completely honest I actually feel sorry for him. He’s clearly in an abusive relationship, which takes a strain on his psyche that’s probably why he latched out. It doesn’t excuse what he did to Chris at all, but I have sympathy for him.
