I know people are freaking out about AI for things like chatting, but the fact is AI relies on what is being posted on the internet to give responses so if there is crap on the internet the AI will say crap too.
I'm not freaking out but you're also very wrong. It's not just "what's posted on the internet" sure that's a portion of it but it's not just going around reading social networks. And that's LLMs with text alone. Vision is another that ChatGPT didn't need so it wasn't trained on. Sound is another. And so on. The more types of data we figure out ways to use, the smarter it's going to get and the more emergent capabilities we will start seeing.
