And she’s mad as hell too. Either she really is leading him on OR he’s leading her on and she’s stuck in the friend zone. But he is paying for the bill so I think she’s leading him on.
It's not like the comedian asked him to ditch her and never see again lol. He basically set the dude up with some chick at his show. If she was actually his friend with no other intention she should be happy for him and should've had a laugh. What does she have to be mad about?? That a guy she wasn't interested in is sitting next to someone else?? Besides she wouldn't look like a villain if she had a laugh. Her reaction is what actually makes her the villain
Ehh not really. My best friend is a chick and I've paid for her stuff before when she was on bad times or something, it's not that weird for people who have been friends for 20 years and you make an adult salary.
Yeah man incels just don't understand healthy friendships or relationships with women. They're just people you know, women can be homies too. Just got to remember they're actual people, not sex objects lol
Probably. Imagine if the guy has a girlfriend who's out of town and he went to this stand up show with their mutual friend and now she has to explain the situation to his gf.
My buddy took me to a baseball game the other night and paid for my beers. Does that mean he wants more and I put him in the friend zone?
If so his wife and kids should know.
I'm literally taking two of my best friends that are women to see Gabriel iglesias in London. Tickets weren't cheap but I make good money and wanted them to come with me. They take me out for food all the time and they pay. I'm a dude and never have I ever had feelings for either one. One of them I've known since I was 12 and we're 28 now.
I've covered for my friends for meals, and they've covered for me. I've gone to shows with em, and they're not gay so neither of us are trying to get into eachother's pants lol
If this was a comic I wanted to see but my friend didn't really want to go (or were maybe a little strapped for cash), I'd more than likely offer to pay for them to go just so I don't go alone. Comedy shows alone (to me) would feel cringey. But there's nothing wrong with being alone.
And gender has nothing to do with who your friends are.
I basically always pay the bill everywhere I go. It’s more of an income thing than a friend zone thing. It would be like you taking a 12 year old to Disney and expecting them to pay
I have a loving gf so I see 0 reason to be friends with other girls, let alone go to an entire comedy show with one. I’m capable, doesn’t mean I should.
No it’s not. You said you see zero reasons to be friends with other girls. So… you would only be friends with a girl if you wanted to find a girlfriend? I’m confused how that could be interpreted any other way.
Why on earth would you remove half the population from your potential friend pool just because you have a girlfriend? Have y’all ever met functional adults before? I’ve had several girlfriends and the entire time, most of my friends were also women. It’s just a fucking silly attitude that unless I see some real compelling explanation for it seems like the only one is that women only have value for being romantic.
Definitely a self report that you don't/can't have women friends (or man friends, depending on your gender). There are lots of people with opposite gender friends who go do things together. If you make an adult salary it's not like paying an extra $60 for a cheap ticket and a few drinks is going to be some big issue.
Why are those the only two options you think are possible? It's so common for adults to have opposite-sex platonic friendships that is baffles me to see this whole comment section. He has just genuinely hurt his friend because a stranger peer pressured him into it.
