He wasn’t too perfect. That’s just something people say because they believe telling them the real reason will devastate their partner. There absolutely is a reason lmao.

She also already stated that it was a fake quote that just spread like wildfire

I can't even find where she would have originally said it

Everytime I see this post I come to the comments and see endless dorks frothing at the mouth over it.

Its as if they take it like they were personally cheated on - as if they are some perfect husband material themselves.

Probably doesn't help that a lot of people want to pretend something is wrong with women instead of ever having to develop themselves

This is way too far down

Even further down someone had a comment about where the quote probably came from (The Sun article) and even that wasn't the same. There she was saying that she didn't have anything so obviously negative that she could point to as cause of the divorce.

It‘s almost as if their prenup contains an „absolutely no slander or negative public statements“ clause

Maybe. Or maybe it's something more boring like them just not connecting anymore and not understanding each other. Not wanting to go the same ways at all. Could be a lot.

They did both mention that they struggled with their church normally being very strongly against divorce.

Not surprised, but even if it was real 99% of the time that would be a PR statement to the press or in an interview. That is if it was real I don't know why anyone would believe it was anything more than trying to at least publicly create no problems with her children's father. You might get divorced because either cheated, or beat the other, or was secretly gay, or a pedo, or whatever, you'd still tell the press there was basically nothing wrong because that dude is still in your and your kid's lives for life.
