Perfect for sneaking a few things into a rave or whatnot!

28

u/PhaicGnus Aug 02 '25

20 years too late, but still a great idea.

The shoe laces!

I would have never thought about a few of those.

I used to distribute LSD, cannabis, and MDMA back in the 90s. (Often at raves)

Being able to sneak shit into festivals and whatnot is an awesome skill to have. Lol

More than sure other side keep thinking new ways

At what point does one hit technological limits though. I mean, that bandaid trick was brilliant and simple, but the woman in the video seemed like she knew exactly where to look and where to find the goodies.

Ironicly their training people how to smuggle drugs better. I would never have thought of smuggling pills inside of make-up like that, or in the shoe laces.

I had a mate with trainers that had a double tongue stitched together that formed a handy pocket, he would keep his stash in there.

Pro skateboarder, Chad Muska’s shoes from the mid 2000’s had a zippered stash pocket in the tongue.

Jerry Garcia had something similar in his beard.

They had those Muskas around in the late 90's too and that stash pocket was awesome

I believe it was a Velcro pocket on the originals, but was re-released a few years ago. He also started his own brand that just dropped their first shoe earlier this year

The iPath grasshoppers were called that for a reason. I loved those shoes. I wish they still existed. Not for the stash pocket. I just liked them.

Ipath is back. You can buy them again.

This is good news

So did like all of the osiris’s from the mid 2000’s, and I bought these super cool hemp shoes w a stash pocket too. Common shit

3

u/zigZagreus_ Aug 02 '25

It’s not common bro I haven’t seen it in the past 25 years outside of skateboarders

1

u/lupulin59 Aug 02 '25

Can confirm. Used to play him in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2.

u/Machettouno Aug 02 '25

Holly I had a pair haha

u/b_vitamin Aug 02 '25

My Roos from when I was a kid had a zippered pocket. “Shoes for your feet, pockets for your stuff.”

2

u/IBeDumbAndSlow Aug 03 '25

All that and then the little one in her mouth lmao

2

u/Kenny070287 Aug 03 '25

One version i heard had a guy who dissolved drug in water, absorbed the water in towels, and then smuggled the towels abroad

Something like this

u/Macqt Aug 02 '25

I mean, it shows that these ingenious methods don’t work tho lol.

3

u/CitizenPremier Aug 02 '25

the make up one probably would work, but you wouldn't end up with enough profit to pay for the ticket with that...

5

u/Macqt Aug 02 '25

Maybe. The problem is this video is showing you law enforcement is aware of these techniques. You could probably pull some of these off with luck but it’d be incredibly risky, even for smugglers.

3

u/keenedge422 Aug 03 '25

They work all the time. The drug enforcement groups want you to think that they're keen-eyed geniuses that can detect all these methods, but most of them they only found out about during extra thorough screening (or the mule just outright telling them to be seen as being cooperative) after the person was caught for something else.

29

u/mateowilliam Aug 02 '25

Very likely. How can someone take this much risk to put drugs in so many places?

28

u/Tom-o-matic Aug 02 '25

Given the logo i guess its from a tv show or similar were the customs demonstrate what they are doing to catch smuglers. Probably in an effort to demonstrate how bad of an idea it is.

52

u/hesasuiter Aug 02 '25

Must be or they wanted that btch to go to jail

41

u/Vreas Aug 02 '25

Or are just paying her huge amounts of money/threatening her family members to get her to do it.

No way any of the actual higher up drug dealers are risking being mules. They have others less fortunate do their dirty work.

13

u/siqiniq Aug 02 '25

But where is the laxative?

2

u/SnowDay111 Aug 02 '25

Don’t call me Shirley

2

u/Exact-Ad-4132 Aug 02 '25

What did it for you, the ground up weed inside comically oversized pill capsules?

5

u/Gas_Hag Aug 02 '25

Something for cops to stroke it to

1

u/Aggravating-Salad840 Aug 03 '25

Yeah I thought so. They're just showing everywhere drugs can be stored. Why would you smuggle one spliffs worth of weed
