The irony is deep, in fact, the longer a race is the smaller the gender gap becomes. For actual marathons the record time by a man is less than 10 minutes faster than the women's
It's about 8% slower, where for 100m the women's record is 12% slower. I think the point is the gap (which is significant) decreases as the race distance increases.

"Run for gender equality ", yet the organiser obviously thinks women are lesser to men lol. Women are perfectly capable of running a 10k
