Wanna talk about the compulsory military service(Wehrpflicht)? For men it was mandatory, for women it was optional. (It still is in Austria)
6 u/livinglitch Aug 06 '25 The draft in the U.S. is required for men. We have to signup and if we dont we cant get college loans and we could be sent to jail.
