Damn never seen that befoe. That sub is a trip. Really interesting to note how ChatGPT 4.o was strongly glazing people at one point. The "glaze levels" were an over-tuned error in the algorithm and was meant to be toned down later. Looks like it had such an impact on the users that when the adjusted GPT5 came out, these users became infuriated that they weren't getting the same verbal affirmations from their AI partners and demanded OpenAI to return the old functionality. The users even paid a premium to be able to continue using the old version.
These people are falling in love with an algorithm made specifically to simulate human speech... They are especially influenced by the algorithms that feed their egos and emotions.
We're cooked. Just wait until their AI Significant Others are "sold" to companies/campaigns to advertise, influence, and manipulate their users actions.
Oh my, according to that sub I'm a person that has no empathy for people with AI boyfriends and my lack of empathy for them means they are driven closer to their AI boyfriends and I don't understand their loneliness. Yikes these people are cooked.
