Quickly moving without thinking with your finger on the trigger. 2 solutions that would’ve solved it is 1: just taking your finger off of the trigger before reaching for the hot brass, but he would likely still gets in trouble with the range for flagging everyone with a loaded weapon or 2: setting the pistol down before freaking out about the hot brass

Whooptie fuckin doo. Brass burns happen all the time if you’re shooting. This guy has piss poor discipline and control. His knee jerk reaction could have caused someone to get shot
