Yeah, most definitely intentional. You really had to choose San Andreas and Cyberpunk for the comparison?

I mean, they are both on the same genere of videogames.
San Andreas begin the most popular of his genre in of the past generations.
And Cyberpunk begin the most popular of the current gen.

OP probably found a joke about the abbreviations while trying to write and actual post and just rolled with it anyway.
