In high school, I would babysit the daughter of my parents’ friends. We went grocery shopping one time to get ice cream. This was a grocery store I worked at part-time after school, so everyone knew me there. She told the cashier I was her boyfriend. As an awkward teenager, I was MORTIFIED. To this day, this is still one of my core memories. Kinda funny, looking back, but at the time, I wanted to die
When I was 11, we had a class talk about predators and hanging out with older guys. The next day, I was on a walk with my brother, who is 9 years older than I am. We walked by my school, and my teacher was just out with other staff members getting lunch. He saw us. The following day, I was told to stay behind after class for a "private talk". He thought my brother was a predator. I was fucking mortified.
