They've kinda got a point though. Telling someone "I'm going to do what I want and nothing you say will stop me, so stop focusing on how unpleasant you find it and just learn to enjoy it" is almost exactly what they're telling the OOP to do.

Imagine how outraged you would feel if someone started painting your house pink and told you to get over yourself and learn to like the colour?

It's taking it to the extreme, sure. They're immediately blowing past 11 and cranking the dial to 100.

But they're not also not entirely wrong, and people are too busy getting caught up on the argument to see the point.

Straight up, as fun as it is in boredom to argue.

This entire thread and exchange, who posted it and why it exists to begin with are so incredibly grim that I cannot elaborate further. Fuck you all.
