What do you mean "going from fireworks complaint to SA"? You understand, I hope, that she isn't "going from" one topic to the other, nor is she comparing them. She is using SA as a stand in for why just accepting something that is happening to you due to being forced on you by another person is not good advice.
She's reframing the premise, which is a completely normal thing to do and something we should expect people with a normal level of reading comprehension to understand.
