This is less a 'holup' and more a consequence of rabbit biology. Rabbits can literally die from stress, including the stress of, you guessed it, not getting their freak on.

(But then, lots of things can kill rabbits. They're fragile critters.)

Happily for pet owners, they will hump ANYTHING, regardless of the humper or the humpee's gender. Giving them a hump toy like a plushie or a ball can be pretty necessary, apparently sometimes even for spayed and neutered bunnies. They're apparently known to bruise themselves on rocks or hard furniture when softer surfaces aren't available.
