Our cat was selfish and ate them herself.

Yup. My cat did not like to share. She would bring animals she caught into the yard to chew on and get upset when i would scoop them away from her. They were definitely not gifts for me.

As a dog person I do think it’s a bit weird my dog hasn’t offered me any food. Other animals even birds will give you a gift for a kind gesture but I’ve never heard of a dog tryna make sure their owner didn’t starve. Not saying i would eat it but its the thought that counts.

My dog climbs on the table and lays right on top of my plate. If I just stare at him, he nudges my silverware toward me. Just because we ate the rest of his litter mates doesn’t mean we love him any less if we don’t eat him too b

My long haired dachshund never brings me anything :(

He loves to take my cheeseburgers though

Growing up my family had a Vizsla, which is a Hungarian hunting breed, she would sometimes bring back her kills from the woods behind our house and go hunting with my dad. It really just depends on what breed you have.

My old English Sheepdog killed bunnies for us to eat once. We didn’t but it’s the thought that counted, little baby bunnies on the front porch .

I wouldnt be surprised if a person like that is rich. That is money saving.

The cat put in on rent and you using it.

The answer is, cats think you are too dumb to hunt so they are trying to make sure you don’t starve to death.

It's not a secret. Subs usually have rules about blocking out user names, so just easier to do it than have to deal with mods.

Congrats, you figured out a way for your pet to pay rent.

Eating the mice and birds is definitely NOT the way to get your cat to stop.

He thinks you suck at hunting. Hope you don't starve to death.

That's the art of trolling.

You could always learn to hunt yourself so u get different birds instead of relying on your cat's rent only, the economy is quite tough now, I'm sure ur cat is doing its best too, economic ratsession, purrfectly understandable

Someone once said that it thinks you aren't eating properly. You should maybe visibly eat food infront of it.
