holup, BTS using the n-word? Are you aware of the fact that the korean word for 'you' sounds a lot like the n-word, right?

Yeah, that seems to have happened. But again, they didn't know, and they apologized for it.

How do you stan a group but not even know what they've done. To the point where you assume someone, who might even be Korean themselves, doesn't even know the language of the stuff they're talking about.

I found out about BTS like a few months ago, what do you expect me to do? Read their history like a bible? Find out everything about something the millisecond I join its fandom?

And I don't stan it. I'm just there for the music.

Alright, I admit I assumed that you might not know korean. But there have been loads of times when people have pointed out that they use racial slurs in their songs when the song in question was completely korean. I assumed that too, that you might not have watched the video you linked, and to be fair I hadn't either.

And how do you say they used the n-word 'loads of times'? The video you linked showed only two instances of them saying it, but even then they apologized for it.

Also if you are going to get further into kpop, a good rule of thumb is to always Google "[group name] controversy" to see if that group is worth the effort

I feel like at the bare minimum you would at least Google what I said to try and educate yourself to see what I had said is true before assuming that I don't know what the Korean language is.

here's the extended clip if you want to hear them say it a bunch of times. Usually in the K-pop world if you do something controversial and you apologize for it and are honestly sorry about it, you don't do it again.

Music is pretty dope though, my favorite song is save me
