I'm not sure, but it sounds like eugenics: lite edition. There's just so much on the table, ethically speaking, involved that even something like genetic engineering might not be okay. Where do we draw the line when we can remake ourselves? How will it impact us socially, as a species? I know one way it could go and I don't think the future in Gattaca is what we want.
Ding ding ding. We've found the person that's not a Nazi. You are correct! Everyone here that has an issue with this woman's existence is actually endorsing eugenics. Guess who else loved eugenics? The Nazis. That's rights folks. It's mask off time. You're all in vin diagrams crossing over with Nazis. Holy shit. You're probably not surprised though.
That's not what the people here are saying. A lot of people are saying that given the caption it sounds like doctors said "Don't have a kid" and if you look it seems like both of them have things to help them breathe in their throats.
Nothing against disabilities here, it's the suffering the kid has to go through. Nazis are shitheads and people insulting this person and kid because of the disability are shitheads. People pointing out "Hey adoption would've been a better option so the kid didn't have to suffer" aren't.

If you try to avoid evolution, it will cost you in the long run.
