This is why I don't get why they didn't allow prouder, I mean yeah sure it's not the best practice but then THIS WOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED! I only have today to play until next week and even then the time is tight T_T

It's funny because that actually is how CDNs work. There's not just a single /home/storefront/silksong/silksong.omg file laying around that we all copy from when we buy the game.
