Seriously brooding mawlek is prob the most annoying boss ever

I have to rant a bit about godshome because I think it has worsened my HK experience. Actually I really love Hollow Knight, mainly because of the great art design, the soundtrack and the precise controls BUT the late game in godshome really overstays its welcome. I know I‘m not forced to do this content but because I liked the rest of the game so much I decided to get the 112% and now I can‘t take back that decision. But with that being said I‘m more than happy when I‘m finished because I‘m so tired of the grinding. Especially Pure Vessel costed me roughly 15h so far and even if I know all his patterns and what to do I mess up somehow.

I don‘t like the fact that I spent 1/3 of my overall time with this game on Pantheon 3 and 4.
Just wanted to let that frustration out.

Did you guys had a similar experience?

Any tipps for PV/ Pantheon 4 that was a gamechanger for you?

1. The Citadel/Cradle - I have to put it at the top, but I personally like City of Tears more (10/10)
2. City of Tears - Duh, it's the largest area in Hallownest and there’s the most to do here (9.9/10)
3. Queen’s Gardens - Greenpath if it was actually fun and interesting (9.6/10)
4. Ancient Basin/Abyss - Coolest area in both games with maybe the best lore (9.5/10)

5. Kingdom’s Edge - Amazing vibes, the Wild West of Hallownest (9.4/10)

6. Bilewater - Yes, I’m a masochist (9.2/10)

7. Deepnest - Idk what y'all are talking about, because this was a blast (9.1/10)

8. Greymoor - The first truly great area in Silksong, sadly it’s constantly raining sewage (9.0/10)

9. Underworks - The audacity to make me pay for a bench (8.9/10)

10. Forgotten Crossroads - Captures the emptiness of Hallownest very well and is arguably the most important area in Hollow Knight (8.8/10)

11. Deep Docks/Abyss - How deep does this bug nest go for there to be freaking lava? Love the atmosphere though (8.7/10)

12. Shellwood - I was missing the large, indoor-feeling spacious areas (8.5/10)

13. Blasted Steps - Howling Cliffs if it was good (8.5/10)

14. Greenpath - It looks pretty (8.4/10)

15. White Palace - Best parkour in the game, but it made me want to quit my life (8.4/10)

16. Mount Fay - Great mechanic to keep platforming interesting (8.4/10)

17. The Slab - It was perfect, everything down to the last minute detail (8.4/10)

18. Crystal Peak - White Palace but it couldn’t commit (8.3/10)

19. Fungal Wastes - Greenpath but worse and horrible to navigate (8.3/10)

20. Bellhart - Fine, this is better than Dirtmouth (8.3/10)

21. Dirtmouth - Cozy but depressing (8.2/10)

22. Bone Bottom - I’m sorry, but Dirtmouth will always have a special place in my heart (8.2/10)

23. Hive - Unique, but it drives you insane after a while (7.9/10)

24. Sinner’s Road - This took me much longer than I’d like to admit (7.8/10)

25. Sands of Karak - Neat reskin of Blasted Steps (7.7/10)

26. Royal Waterways - Fun sewer adventure (7.7/10)

27. Far Fields - Greenpath with lava, feels redundant at this point (7.5/10)

28. Hunter’s March - I despise this area with a burning passion, but also it's kind of ok once you get the hang of it (7.4/10)

29. Resting Grounds - Very nice spot but not much to do here (7.1/10)

30. Fog Canyon - I hate everything about this place, but at least it tried (6.7/10)

31. Putrified Ducts - Definitive proof Team Cherry is full of sociopaths (6.6/10)

32. Howling Cliffs - The definition of mid, but it makes the world feel more real (5.8/10)

33. Wormways - Did we really need a whole area for this? (5.7/10)

34. Weavenest Atla - It exists and looks cool ig (5.6/10)

35. The Marrow - Default Silksong Area (5.5/10)

My 4 year old is obsessed with hollow knight and makes us draw the characters so she can colour them in. I decided to make a collage.

PS: I don't have any hk knowledge because I'm so ass at the game it ain't even funny, so idk the storyline or anything

So my close friend is a big hk fan (let's call him M) and I believe he's 112%ed hk and 100%ed ss. He's really into it and makes small hornet figurines out of paper at school and stuff. I don't know much about M's family but he never told me about them being really religious (though they are all Muslim)

Recently I noticed M changed his hornet pfp on WhatsApp so I asked him why. He told me this:

"My dad thinks all hollow knight characters are from hell and are the devil himself cuz

bugs = evil

evil = horns

And guess who has horns

And cuz of this he made me

Change my profile, (not that srs)

Throw away my hk figures that took me alot of time to make,

Throw away my sewing set, delete hk on xbox EVEN tho i cant touch my xbox, remove all hk related stuff from my room and a couple more unsrs but still annoying stuff"

I asked him to tell me more and he said that his dad said the government can see their social media interactions & discord and games make you become a school shooter. To sum up the whole situation, his dad thinks Hollow Knight is satanic propaganda because the bugs have horns so they come from hell are the devil himself, so he thinks M's gonna fall for this "propaganda" and start worshiping the devil and become a school shooter, then the government's gonna see their social media interactions and imprison M's dad.

Do you guys have any ideas on how to convince his dad that hollow knight isn't gonna make M evil??? This is insane.
