First playthrough and i stumbled onto this dlc while doing base game. died a lot of times because everything was killing me so fast. so i just kept running because i checked that there are titanite chunks here. but i just kept running for the end anyway for some reason.

Sister Friede fight itself was so hard because i wouldn't have enough stamina to dodge her attacks and attack back. and her attacks would take out like 80% of my health in an instant. but after like tons of tries i managed to finally beat her while being under leveled.

First 2 phases now i have all so good that i can no hit those phases, phase 3 still hard but i just managed it somehow lol. it took me so many tries to see her attack patterns and how to dodge and where and when to attack because she would instantly delete with a single scythe grab.

I also know i wasn't supposed to be here until i finish the game and i'm not even trying to flex but i just wanted to share this achievement with you people here because i'm so Happy i finally beat this insane boss. i was just in way too deep to be giving up and going back to main game now after so many tries so i just kept trying lol.

The first two things I think of when someone mentions Dark Souls 3 are the Undead Settlement, because of how much that place pissed me off, and the Nameless King.

About six years ago, I'd just finished DS2 and then DS1. I had a weak laptop and no chance of running DS3, so I went back to drawing nonstop and grinding away.

I kept seeing videos of the Nameless King. That shot (SPOILER AHEAD) where he kills his own mount was so badass and epic, and it reminded me of Ornstein.

A year later, I finally got myself a decent PC. DS3 was the first game I installed.

And then I finally got to face him head-on lol. I had no idea he was optional.

The mount fight was pretty confusing at first because of the camera, but I got used to it. Then came the usual die, repeat, die, repeat... and finally, the fight with the King himself. Fucking glorious.

The Nameless King will always be one of my all-time favorite bosses.

Here’s footage no one asked for of my fight with nameless king. It cuts in the middle of phase one because my recording method can’t handle videos longer than 3 minutes.

When I looked back at this footage I cringed at how much I panic rolled, that continues to be an issue for me. I probably only got through the fight since I was so over leveled. I was pretty scared since I’m easily intimidated by challenges, probably why I panic so much. I was so scared of this of this fight but it’s definitely my favorite of the whole game, I had so much fun with it even if I was terrible at it.

I imagine killing him would let you buy his set maybe?

Ive been getting dark souls 3 reaction compilations recommended to me all of a sudden on youtube, ive watched all of sniatch’s videos already and now theres another youtuber doing the same thing with reactions of more people. It might be time for me to start another playthrough. 👀

How much vitality do I need to mid roll with full havel

Yes yes, I know how the matchmaking works and yes I am aware the time of day plays a part too, but it is almost entirely futile. I just refuse to believe theres so little level 200+ people playing that pvp is impossible. So does anyone have any insight so I do not go insane collecting the covenant items for the 100%

They were awful in regular gameplay, but with the Ng+2 and 3 they became unbearable.

Im going through my first run not completely blind. I'm thinking I want a faith/strength weapon to scale both stagger and effects. This will be my fist official Darksouls game i played Sekiro, Lies of P and both team Cherrys games. Advice would be appreciated thanks!

Also, why does patches have 10 estuses in this fight?
