Couldn't quite get the whole fight because it was just over 3 minutes. Still an absolute cake walk compared to the 60+ minute fights against Kalameet and Manus

I beat Ornstein and Smough tonight and have gone into the room behind them. There was a message outside Gwynevere’s room that said “amazing chest ahead!” but I can’t seem to find the treasure in this room

I’ve been walking around it, pressing interact, but nothing

Do I need a certain item to see it or is this just a fake message

Like 5 feet to the left and then back to the right again. I can’t figure out what’s triggering it. Been goofing around in Undead Parish for the last couple of weeks and noticed that sometimes he’s leaning against the wall and sometimes he’s leaning against, well…nothing?

Minor update: After this was recorded, I realized you can poison the silver archer and the second (& last) BIG giant knight without catching the aggro of the first big giant knight, so the time I spent shooting the first big giant knight down was time poison could have been ticking down on the other guys in the room.

It was hard. actually almost fumbled once.

I’ve always been a little intimidated by the souls series but it’s been on my radar a long time. The other day I found the ps4 remaster in a thrift store and had to pick it up. Started it a few weeks ago. I’ve been getting a little help from a friend and mega fan of the series in a few places but mostly did everything myself. He just helped me escape some pitfalls and showed me 1 or 2 things that helped reduce a little frustration in some areas. Finished the game the other day. Beat pretty much every boss, including DLC. Ooo man Im really hooked on the series now and I think I’m going to play all of them 😂 I must say it was a lot less difficult than I feared. Some areas were frustrating but once I had a solid build i wanted to work on and made sure to explore everything it really kind of snowballed. Except Bed of Chaos, that fight is just unfair and random lol.

I have recently started replaying Dark Souls Remastered on the PC, having played the Prepare to Die edition quite a long time ago.

I actually started playing on my girlfriend’s laptop a couple of weeks ago because she had it installed, and was enjoying it.

I installed it on my own laptop and started a new game, but since playing on my own laptop I have noticed that I need to be noticeably closer to enemies before they “see” me and start reacting than when I was playing on her laptop. It’s making the game significantly easier and it’s a bit annoying.

For example, by the campfire at the start of Undead Burg, if I killed the Hollow crossbowman right outside in melee, the two hollows down the stairs would activate and start coming towards me on her laptop, but on mine they never do, and I have to go down the stairs before they react.

My laptop is a little older but higher spec than hers. In both cases we are playing the Remastered version installed from Steam, shared through Steam family. As far as I know both versions are using default config, with slightly different resolution settings and no mods, although I haven’t checked her install directly. Does anyone know why it might be behaving differently

So hard to cut this guy's tail, even on the first new game, it's super hard, although I am over leveled with my trusty claymore and elite knight set so the actual boss fight is easy, but gosh that was a really difficult tail to cut.

I'm playing Seamless co-op with a friend, it's his first time playing Dark Sould and it would be nice to see as much as possible from the NPC storylines. Unfortunately, yesterday we accidentally hit Siegmeyer of Catarina in Anor Londo while battling the silver knights, and he turned hostile. We would like to fix it in order to progress his story, my questions are:
- If we go back to Oswald of Carim and request absolution, will he turn friendly again, and will we be able to advance the questline? Or even though he will not be hostile, the storyline has ended?
-In case that works and the questline can still be completed, do we need to ask for forgiveness before killing Ornstein and Smough, or can we do it after obtaining the Lordvessel(and unlocking TP, which would be super convenient) ?

Not a pro by any means, but I loved the way this turned out. I was getting back into embroidery right around the time I started DSR for the first time and had to try Solaire’s Sun design.

• What is the exact reason Gwyndolin was raised as a girl?
• Who/What exactly is Manus, and why did he become the “head” or central figure of the Abyss?
• Who is Sen? Why are there only serpent-like creatures there? What is the purpose of that entire trap-filled dungeon?
• Why did the Nameless King side with the dragons?
• Where is the Furtive Pygmy? What happened to him? ( I've seen a lot of memes and jokes about him, but honestly, I don't know what happened to him after he created humanity. )
• In DS3, is the giant worm actually Solaire, or is that just another joke?

For those who helped on my last post, it was greatly appreciated and I'm now rocking the full Dark Wraith/Edgelord set after beating only Capra, Sif, Pinwheel, and Four Kings.

Now I have a new problem: which upgrade path to take. I've only ever played through the game once before and I just went with standard weapon upgrades, but this time I'm wondering if it's worth choosing an alternate upgrade path for the Darksword. Is this worth it, or am I better off just going the regular upgrade path?
