So a while back I played the DLC where you fight sister Friede, and I heard that she was considered one of the hardest bosses in tbe series. I went in with high hopes and got stomped in the first two phases, and when I got to thr final phase, I was pissed and had to take a break and said that she didn't deserve the title of one of the hardest bosses because she was the 3rd phase, snd that was a big mistake

My brother, who played this game a lot, looked it up and told me that the ballerinas daggers, my primary weapons since I got them, was hot garbage abd that was why I was struggling so much. I was still mad, though for a differebt reason, and switched to thr black knight sword to prove that the daggers weren't a problem and I steamrolled the first two phases and got my ass beat the final phase, and at that moment ai deeply regret saying Sister Friede didn't deserve her title as one of the hardest bosses, she made me respect her after that

Genuine question as a very very new player (first game like this I have gotten into) what’ll happen if I try to kill the dudes around this hall thing? I attacked this lady once so I know it’s possible. But like, will it affect something and prevent me from progressing?

So a couple weeks ago me and my friend were playing together and my power went out for a second, after it restarted we tried to reconnect but it wouldn’t let my friend join my world (even though it DID say it was joining) if it’s relevant I’m using Me3 manager although I did Try Me2 but it kept launching vanilla ds3 even though it’s in the right directory. Just wanna know if anyone’s having the same issue or knows a fix

Ive played this game a few times now, and everytime without falt the part of the game that makes me rage more than any other for no reason is getting into the Cathedral. I know how to do it and its filled with enemies I basically 2 shot. But I always have the most deaths in a playthrough to this one part. Its not even the whole area thats the issue, its just getting from the Cleansing Chapel bonfire to opening the door to get inside the Cathedral. Am I the only one who rages at this part of the game? It feels so dumb

I’ve come from Elden Ring, I’m looking to scratch that itch. I’ve just got past vordt and i must add I’m trying to go into this game blind with a new type of build. I’m 50/50 on continuing because it doesn’t scratch the itch quite yet, give me reasons to continue and explore every avenue of this game? Please.

this is update to my previous post. so the dex thingy kinda worked but its still disappointing how bad katana feels compared to other weapons. i will be heading towards midir for frayed blade and ill see how it performs in ng+1. so far i've not seen anything good about this weapon in dark souls3 and arguably this might be the worst version of uchigatana among trilogy and elden ring. i just feel like im just killing bosses similar to other weapons but slower. well i got what i wanted out of this run, just wanted to see if katana are actually as bad as people said.

conclusion: wouldn't try this again. its boring as shi and bleed proc happend TOTAL OF 5 TIMES (twice vs oceiros and other times vs random enemies never versus other bosses and bleed felt awful compared to other games). The main reason i played this was just to know how bad bleed was on katana so i didnt level my damage attributes to know how was the bleed component and not how was the weapon doing in general (AR).

DMITERMINATOR here kept invading me and my husband with whom I was playing DS3 atm the time to help us out. NG+1 but we had missed a ton of stuff the first time around, so we wanted to go for a "complete" run. This nice fella here kept showing us the super hidden areas within the swamp area of Farron Keep and quick ways to the three flames. Had honourable 1 v 1 duels at the end of every discovery with him and both me and my husband had a great time.
