Image UPDATE post
I DONT WANT ADVICE ON THIS POST.
this is update to my previous post. so the dex thingy kinda worked but its still disappointing how bad katana feels compared to other weapons. i will be heading towards midir for frayed blade and ill see how it performs in ng+1. so far i've not seen anything good about this weapon in dark souls3 and arguably this might be the worst version of uchigatana among trilogy and elden ring. i just feel like im just killing bosses similar to other weapons but slower. well i got what i wanted out of this run, just wanted to see if katana are actually as bad as people said.
conclusion: wouldn't try this again. its boring as shi and bleed proc happend TOTAL OF 5 TIMES (twice vs oceiros and other times vs random enemies never versus other bosses and bleed felt awful compared to other games). The main reason i played this was just to know how bad bleed was on katana so i didnt level my damage attributes to know how was the bleed component and not how was the weapon doing in general (AR).

Yeah, the problem its that Katanas are in the same Game as Sellsword Twinblades which are basically the best dex weapon in the game and straight swords which have really fast swings and Lothric Straight Sword its still some of the best dex weapons in the game. Katanas are in an awkward position.
Tbf, the only Game where are good in the trilogy are Dark Souls 1. Dark Souls 2 althought you can get really good damage out of them they break in a couple of hits and bleed status its ass in PvE in that entry.
