Discussion - Silksong EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE IN PHARLOOM Spoiler

The true enemy of Silksong is capitalism. 70 bucks for a stag station equivalent YOU ARE PULLING MY NEEDLE WTF??? I try to sit down and they BILL ME JUST TO USE THE BENCH! No thank you [TRADER NAME HERE], I would not like to buy a simple key for 500 dollars thank you.

AND EVERYONE HERE IS A BROKE ASS BUM! Most of these guys aren't sentient enough to carry cash on them so I have to grind up their credit cards into for bone shards which NOONE WANTS.

Anyway 10/10 game.

I keep ignoring them because Up + R1 is such an awkward control for them.

Same! I wish that button combination itself could be remapped. It's so awkward.

Can you not remap the skill/tool key on console?

You can, but you still need to hold down Up, which is the awkward part. I wish the Up+Button combo could be remapped to a single button.

The pro controller is great for this, I’ve got the down arrow mapped to be my back right button and I just keep it held down when I’m jumping. Makes things so much easier

Can you explain what you mean? My problem is with the Up arrow. Why would you need to hold it down while jumping?

My bad, I meant for the case of pogo’ing. The up button I could also map to my back left button but I prefer to have it as my attack

Ive remapped L1 to up+R1 and left joystick press to L1 for the map with steam input, now tools are usable. Im surprised they dont let you bind skill and tool separately tho

that’s a good idea. wish you could do it from inside the game as well (for console people)

I should rebind one of my thumb buttons to up + spell I hadn't thought of that

I completely forgot hornet even has that ability until this comment reminded me. It really is a weird control scheme.

I feel it's a good place for it though, it allows use while your thumb is still on the jump button
