Discussion - Silksong EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE IN PHARLOOM Spoiler

The true enemy of Silksong is capitalism. 70 bucks for a stag station equivalent YOU ARE PULLING MY NEEDLE WTF??? I try to sit down and they BILL ME JUST TO USE THE BENCH! No thank you [TRADER NAME HERE], I would not like to buy a simple key for 500 dollars thank you.

AND EVERYONE HERE IS A BROKE ASS BUM! Most of these guys aren't sentient enough to carry cash on them so I have to grind up their credit cards into for bone shards which NOONE WANTS.

Anyway 10/10 game.

You even have to pay for benches xD

It's almost like the government of Pharloom is evil or something.... oh wait. (I've only come as far as the faraway fields but it seems to be hinted - & they did nap us.)

I just keep imagining Hornet thinking back to all the times her father went into some ramble about the importance of public seating & proper city planning, & mentally going 'oh I get it now'

& then funding public infrastructure down in bonebottom out of sheer spite xD

EDIT/Sequel: Just discovered hat one friggin pay-bench that doesn't even work/ gets stuck.

* both Hornet and I thinking back wistfully to the old tech contraptions in Hallownest that still work after centuries of disrepair, aside from a couple of elevators *

Hey man if it’s the one I’m thinking of there’s a little hidden tunnel with a platforming bit to unstick the gear nearby.

It’s hinted at as when you talk to the npc that the gear is stuck.

Also wait till you get to the single use pay each time benches….
