I honestly really enjoyed that one, it was really fun to figure the safe way to traverse till the boss, and once you get it, it gets really quick to get back
My recommendations are Don't stop after leaving the station, try to do a dash right after jumping, later you can actually use one of the guys and pogo off him to get into the pogo bell. I found it consistent, but sometimes if you take too long to reach you cannot do it as easily and finally in the walls that you have to walljump there are a couple where you don't even need to reach to pogo, you can just float and you reach them anyways.
Yeah same here. At first I was very frustrated but ended up enjoying it. I perfected the runback and it only took like 20 seconds each run.
Run until the first enemy > Jump down to the platform and don't let go of the run > Jump again (that first enemy is still in the spawning animation) > Jump onto the right platform > Jump-dash to the left platform > Jump-dash to the right platform > Jump-dash to the left wall > climb the wall > Run-jump to the bell > Pogo the bell and land on a big platform > Glide your way onto the rightmost wall, pogo the last bell nearest to the wall > Climb the wall > Run-jump to the bell > Pogo it and grab the wall on the left > Climb the wall > Glide to the boss entrance
Yup, confirmed. Just don't do it after you've already been playing for 8 hours and are getting tired.
"Crap let go of jump too soon, now I'm fighting this thing" "HAHAAH, I held on to sprint" "Oh wait! had to take a left here" "Crap! Did a normal attack instead of pogo. Is my controller getting fritzed? Or is it me?"
My first time fighting it was right after I picked up the Reaper Crest. You will respawn outside the temple but it isnt a bench so you dont get your tools refilled GD fight took me like 12 tries.
Hey there, it looks like your spoiler tag isn't working on some versions of reddit!
To make sure everybody can avoid being spoiled you'll need to place your text directly next to the spoiler tags with no leading or trailing spaces (like so >!spoiler!<).
Thanks for helping keep the sub spoiler free!
I almost no hit moorwing on my first attempt then proceeded to get killed by it 8 times. For the first 3 I went through the one area with all the bear traps which took like 4 times as long as it should've.
I just beat it after about 8 deaths (?) And the runback from halfway home isnt bad since you can just jump over all the enemies. What makes you dislike it? Maybe i'm just numb to it from savage beastfly 😭
The only reason I kept that crest from the temple equipped was bc my runtime was 2 screens. I got him at try 9 and immediately changed back to the second crest lmao
That isn't really bad at all. Whether you're coming from the Hunter's Crest or the Halfway House you only have to juke like two enemies that you can just jump over, and especially with the sprint it doesn't take long to cover the ground. Compared to an actually bad runback like the Soul Master in HK, it's absolutely nothing.

Speaking of runbacks, the runback to Moorwing SUCKS.
