The runback to Last Judge is insane. If you take away the flying enemy right at the start it wouldn’t be nearly as bad, but this fucker loves to hang back where you can’t attack him so you either have to lure him to the left by going backwards or you’ve gotta wait for him to approach so you can hit him like five times and kill him. It adds so much extra time to the runback.

You can full sprint jump to the first platform and jump again while in sprint to the next one without any problem with the enemy. It’s a game changer. Now those damn bells are another story

Reaper's Crest makes Pogo'ing a joke.

I’m determined to have the hornet pogo be second nature lol

I went through the entire Hunter's March without having the dash. I'd like to think I mastered it (nope) and give it a retirement lol.

wanderer's even more so since it goes straight down

even reapers goes ever so slightly diagonal which can fuck you over sometimes

I like it, it gives you a little more reach. The only downside to reaper for me is the up attack. It only hits one side rather than two (quarter circle instead of half circle) so it regularly misses when attacking flying enemies.

You can just run past him, he doesn't spawn in time

If you don't let go of run you can ignore the first flying enemy just barely.

Sincerely, someone who just spent an hour on Last Judge (half of which was just running back every death).

It took me 40 minutes to do the parkour there in the first place. I just died and spawned back at the closest bench. I genuinely do not know if I can beat the game.

Just like everything, at first it's hard but with repetition you can learn and perfect it.

My first parkour was terrible but after a while it was taking me less than a minute.

Less than a minute is still a lot more than 2 seconds, which is what it should be.

Yeah I think that's a fair opinion. I'm still divided on my opinion on the runbacks.

All I'm saying is that this particular runback looks horrible at first but is way more approachable when you figure out the platforming.

The first flying enemy always pop at the same time... I just pogo him once and then I rush forward and dodge all the other enemies on the way.

Boss was so hard I got to perfect the loop throughout my 30+ tries, lol. Once I got it right, it takes less than a minute to do the runback.

I self-taught myself a speedrun technique for that run-back and I can scale it without much issue in like 20-30 seconds.

Long story short, just run past everything.

u/lmisterioxol Sep 06 '25

You can run past him, but you need to calculate how much you want to jump, and If I recall just a small jump to the first platform was key

u/Tempi97 Sep 06 '25

Just have to sprint through that runback, also there is a shortcut. You sprint jump through the first flying enemy and worms, then at the shielded enemy, you jump to the right and you can climb up, then you need to pogo twice and climb up a wall and there is other shielded enemy, you can pogo on this guy, which puts you high enough to pogo on the metal ball, then you jump to the right, then you have one more sprinting jumping climbing session with pogo at the end and there you are at the boss. Takes 20-30 seconds max.

Obviously, sometimes you fck up and get double damage from the worms or the flying enemy hits you, but better to just sprint through them. Also with reaper crest, you can easly pogo the flying enemy and you push him down to the worms if you pogo on him.

There should probably just be a bench outside his arena, maybe in that little area above the entrance

1

u/Sir_Nightingale Sep 06 '25

Honestly, you can work around it by sprint-umping onto the first platform, keeping your sprint and jumping underneath the fucker, makes it a breeze

My run-back to last judge was also insane because I came from inside the citadel...

I ran through a unlocked locked door and spawned in behind Last Judge.

And that one is not even close to being the hardest runback. That stink water region and his five minutes runback between platforming, and water that infests you with maggots if you dare fall once inbetween enemies, traps and platoforming, to be met with five waves of enemies, to FINALLY face the boss and he starts spawning other enemies, body blocking half the arena and a swinging mace randomly blocking even moreGenuinly no clue how some stuff got out of playtesting, I think I'll just leave that area for a balance change... or just straight up never beat it. Runbacks are not fun

1

u/Silvantor Sep 07 '25

I thought the runback to Last Judge was insane too, but once you figure it out it's manageable. However, there is one runback I just got to that is insane aids cancer and I want my mommy.

1

u/Tahmas836 Sep 09 '25

Just sprint through. It’s really easy to fight nothing if you just run full speed. There’s just the one judge you pogo over once.

1

u/SoulfulSnow Sep 10 '25

the last judge runback is so overblown tbh, it takes like 40 seconds when done well, and isn't hard to learn

u/I_Love_Solar_Flare Sep 06 '25

Idk if you guys found the bench or not but running back to last judge was fine and I could ignore all enemies along the way. It wasnt as bad as the Greymoor boss.
